Matias Tactile Pro Mechanical Keyboard Model FK302 USB Alps Box MAC PC Clicky

"Gently used", interesting extended-char. sublegends! The seller thinks one of the case clips is "broken"—but from the photo in the listing, it looks to me like it's just become unseated somehow... What do you think?

$60.00 + free U.S. shipping.

If you do buy this, I'd ask the seller not to simply ship it in its original box, as they intend, but to double-box it to protect the keyboard better.

Hmmm...seems there's a version 3 and version 4 of these, and the version 4 letters are printed and wear off easily.  I wonder which board was in the auction?

There's a similar one listed:

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I saw that one, but there's a button that's not on the version 3 or version 4, and in the quick reading I did about the board seems the early ones (like this one?) had some quality/design/build issues.

Still, not a bad price for it, but I wonder about the keycaps as well as longevity.
