The PCB is a revised version of the Time TKL PCB which supports both MX and ALPS. Some issues have been fixed in this version.

What color is the plate/insert in the yellow prototype you have?  I thought it was silver or grey but neither of those are options.

would the plate from the leaf80 fit inside a TIME TKL?  I'm thinking about taking this opportunity to upgrade my TIME TKL plate to brass.

Time TKL plates can fit into leaf 80 but Leaf 80 plates won't fit into Time TKL.

It's a pity there are so few options for ALPS keycaps. I'm using AT101 caps right now. It's enjoyable to type on nice ALPS but AT101 caps are a little too thin for me.

Very nice to see a good custom kit without 8+degree angles! I love smaller angles (<5 ideally) and you guys are one of the few designers that make this type of keyboard.

The corners are a bit too rounded for my liking, but besides that it's a unique and beautiful design. Good luck with the gb.

+1 for smaller angles. I like something between 5 and 6 degrees.

And that price... it’s just too good to resist!

The PCB was designed to support ALPS + WKL only. If you have some nice WK ALPS caps, I would suggest you to drill holes on the PCB and do the wiring. It requires some skills but it's feasible. I did it once. I can help you to change the case layout to WK if you want to do it. I can't guarantee it will work tho.

Will the brass have some kind of coating to protect it from getting a patina?

And is it possible to get a different color plate and insert color?

seriously. i'm still thinking about whether i made the right choice. i think the e-coating chance for this board is too good to pass up but i love the gradient effect.
