GET HYPE, DOTA MOBA BEST MOBA

Wildcard matches tomorrow, going to be a helluva productive week.

If you don't know.

$1.1 million for 6th place, the prize pool is bananas this year.

EG has been rolling faces lately, they won the Asia Championships which was the tourney with the largest prize pool aside from TI this year, and also came in second at ESL Frankfurt. They're probably the runner-up favorites going into the tournament behind Secret (who have Arteezy and zai previously from EG).

Technically they have a 15 year-old prodigy from Pakistan, but they're still an NA team.

**** Secret. I was wondering when this was going to start, it was a lot earlier last year.

I may watch a few games at work next week, but I'm not that bothered. Are the finals next weekend?
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I rarely play, it's way too stressful of a game for me haha. But I really enjoy watching it, there's an impressive amount of individual skill and teamwork involved. And I used to be much more into playing competitively, so I feel like I've been there and done that (obviously nowhere near the same level as The International) and it's fun to watch the extremes that things are reaching now.

You can always play normal games because only the ranked games matter anyway. I love to pick pudge or techies in normal games when it is a bad time to play ranked.

It's just a video game, I'm not worried about my rank at all. It just takes such an extreme amount of focus from me that if I'm going to play some online multiplayer I'd rather play something I know the mechanics of so well that I could play in my sleep, like CS or Quake. micro, teammates, enemies, and item progression, for like 50 minutes without a break? A little much when I've just worked an 8-hour day and want to relax lol.

One of these days I'll probably get obsessed though. All of this Tusk play lately has made me envious.

I felt like I was watching legend of the hidden temple or something with how the dude was explaining the game.
