Hi, this is my first group buy, how is the comrad kit doing? And what happens if the MOQ is not met? I have ordered the base and comrad kit, but without the comrad set the base kit makes little sense for me, I really need kyrllic letters :/

Reading about the monochrome r2 i had a lot of short questions. I thought this might the right place to ask even tho it is a little bit late. Still hoping to get answers...

1) The base kit and board renders show different typefaces/fonts. Just to confirm: I assume that GMK will use the same cherry tools and with that the cherry font like on most other GMK sets?
2) Are these ABS doubleshot keycaps?
3) The monochrome r1 did not have the red accent pieces. Is there a specific reason why the color RO2 was picked?
4) What was the motivation for the r2?

3: It maches the sublegends of the comrad kit + I like red as an accent color, and it is a stock GMK color.
4: The original GB ran in September 2018, it did not sell well(neither did r2 for that matter) - and therefor are not easy to come by at the secondhand market anymore, I wanted to bring it back, and give it a few updates kitting wise.

I think its pretty interesting how the GB's didn't sell well considering how sought after the kit can be. Also I wanted to ask if there have been any updates since the last post? I don't want to nag but if anything new has come up I'd love to know.

Hi everyone!

A small 'non-update',

GMK came back to MKBEU(lead vendor), and advised that GMK Monochrome R2 wont ship in 2022, GMK advised MKBEU that they would know more about the timeline in December.. I will chase them again then.
