Lvl. 1: 5 people are needed for the bare basic polyurethane materials. All or nothing. Either do this or don't. Complete

Lvl. 2: 7 people will make possible to buy hard shore silicone for casting, a soft silicone and a flexible polyurethane for molding it into a one piece silicone keycap.


DECEMBER 14^th UPDATE:

Ordered (arrived on 12-19-14):
- 2 kg of polyurethane foam.
- 1 kg of polyurethane hard white resin.
- 1 kg of flexible polyurethane (45 shore A).
- Dyes.
- Demolding agent.
- 1 kg of platinum cure silicone of 15-20 shore A hardness (soft like real skin, slightly translucent)

To complete the silicone boobiecaps a hard silicone is needed for the base and stem. Silicone sticks to itself, so it's possible to mix a hard silicone and a soft one, in layers. A hard silicone is fundamental for the switch connection stability. It needs to be addition (platinum) cure silicone, as condensation (tin) cure silicone don't have a long lifetime.

I've many ideas, sculpts are not an issue: I could cut the stem of a cap and sculpt it's body almost entirely over that or use a keycap as base. One boob p/cap, biboobed cap, triboobed blue alien cap, saggy boob cap, implant boob cap, anatomical dissection with glands and nerves exposed cap, maybe I could paint over a little tatoo, and another anatomical features of overall shape, components and accesories (clip on bra via magnet). I don't know how ballistic gell is done, but if I could get my hands over some, it'd supposedly have real skin tear strenght and flexibility.Etc, etc.

The outmost important thing is test if the rigid stem + flexible keycap body is possible, factible (maybe molding makes it impossible), it's usability and durability. And if it doesn't work: MAKE IT WORK

I found the ideal candidate: a 95 shore platinum cure silicone putty, with high initial flowability.

I think boobiecaps as a project requires it's own site, as it's is more adult oriented than what I'm doing with ArtKeycaps and the public may not be the same. They could even collide.

It's also easier for me to easily point out customers to a simple web, than dictating the url of this thread.

Thank you all for your support, because this wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for your early backing.

I bought a top quality addition cure silicone used in dentistry, out of my pocket. The preorders have covered up to the polyurethane materials only.

The rest of preorders are still needed for at least covering part of the total cost or maybe buying another set of silicone and casting elements. I'll give it one more week, or I'll work with the people already interested.

Preorders deadline is December 26^th 2014.

If I get a surplus over the preorders, some will be gifted, maybe a small sale will open on here and I'll auction the rest.
Preorder will get priority and the best price possible, because they're done at cost, just to cover the materials expenditures (which are still in red numbers).

I'll do the full list of sculpts detailed a few posts above, however I'll mold and cast the single symmetrical and gravity models at basis. The rest are proofs of concept. I'll duplicate another one if it looks cool enough.

More pictures of the prototypes (still adjusting volumes, sanding, texturing, detailing, etc).

These are all the ones I'll do. Apparently simpler shapes are not that simple.

Also, reading about industrial grade adhesives, I realized that it'd be possible to adhere a hard base to a flexible top, with some precautions, in case the silicone base end up too fragile.
