12 Oct Update!

• Novelties are coming along super nicely, I'm excited to show them to y'all (: Please be patient!
• Decided to add a few renders of my own to show the versatility of this set with coloured boards.
• In trying to render for the Candybar, I realised I had a few missing keys. I've added R4 *, R3 Enter (1u) to the numpad kit, and a R4 Shift (1.5u) to the 40s kit. Hope this makes sense.
• Vendor list is almost finalised! Just waiting on a few more responses from some busy people

Hmmm if you're talking about the spacebars kit with all the different sizes, they've all been rendered as concave because I sadly do not know how to make them convex. However, it's just a render and the row indicators do show that they're MEANT to be convex! So sorry for the confusion. You're not imagining things, the image is just bad Sorryyy

Having taken a quick look at compatibility, the only thing I’d consider is R1 coverage in the Ortho/40s kit. As it is, coverage for boards like Preonic are limited to using the alphas kit to cover the outside modifiers.

it might look cool, at the very least a mod color entire function row would be good lookin for this set. id love to see a render with the center function cluster as alpha though if thats not too much trouble

For example, If I wanted to kit out a minivan, I'd have to purchase FOUR kits; base mods (for 1.75u shift, bottom row mods, and arrows) +alphas +40s (for 1.75u backspace, 1.5u enter, 1.25u tab, and would have to use 1u Super/Fn from base instead of legend accurate 1u Shift) +spacebars (for 2.25u/2u).

Is there a world where you consider running this as a full-on 40s mods kit that does not require the purchase of a base kit? Doing so would require a big change up and would require you to drop one of the color supports to make its pricing reasonable.

Thanks so much again for your advice! We already had this discussion on Discord but I felt weird leaving this hanging on the thread, so I'll post a summarised response.

Due to very low interest in the IC form, this set will have the bare minimum Plank/Preonic support for the Ortho kit, and we have decided on a 40s extension kit to follow in the footsteps of other notable SA sets. I understand that it's quite costly to always buy a base alpha/mod kit and then top up with 40s and spacebar kits, but as a customer it's what I would prefer because then I would have the flexibility to use the set for all kinds of layouts in future, without the gripe of having lots of repeated keys.

A few things I noticed, Caps Lock and Num Lock appear to be the only non-single line mods, what are your thoughts on changing these to simply Caps and Num respectively?
