Regarding with the GMK Valentine (We call it CHERRY KC 520), I am not to prove it's popular by keyboard (Or keycaps) enthusiasts.
The target user is Cherry and other brand's nomal user(Not enthusiasts.
The distributor and retailer earn the profit. That's the companys business, even the end user don't care at all only need the reasonable price.

So the Classic Retro set will do it better, add more addition keycaps and lower price I hope.

I think the R3 "H" is the same as the keycaps on G80-3000.

From what I can tell by looking at the mockup, the first CTRL/ALT would be R4 and everything else to the right of the space bar would be R5.  I assume that would look awkward.

Can anyone verify?

Hmm.. I don't see how that set helps (other than giving me a R1 Del End PgDwn).  They are all 1u keys, and the only ZZ96 layout that uses 1u front row modifiers with arrow keys uses a 6u spacebar (I think extra space is 7u in this buy?).  It would also require mixing R4 with R5.

I'm looking at this layout diagram:

I guess I could use the original set to make the layout 1st from the bottom, with the 7u R4 space and the 1.5 R5 mods, but I don't want to rely on 7u spacebars.  It looks like my only option with GMK Classic is to use the layout 2nd from the bottom with R4 mods to the left of the standard spacebar and R5 mods/arrows to the right.  Unless I'm looking at this wrong...

It would be great if the "`~" and "\|" keys were offered in both colors combinations, so people can decide whether they want the symmetrical or the classic look.

Also, why is the 4th ISO key blank? Looks really odd in my opinion, when every other key has a legend. This will stick out! I'd prefer ANY legend on it instead of none 

While it is not a deal breaker for me, I agree. For the 4th ISO key any leeds would probably look better than none.

Sorry I didn't say anything in the IC.  About the ISO kit I just noticed that the rows of the keys are wrong (guy's please double check this for me). shouldn't the ISO 1u |\ key be r4 and the key that has currently been left blank r3? It looks the other way around in the render.
If the blank key is the wrong profile or might stick out even more

I think it depends on the specific layout you look at: There are layouts/languages which use |\ as R3 (right), some (UK) have |\ on R4 (left) and others do not have it at all.
But since the legends in this GB are US legends, I think the most logical thing would be to just match the US-layout.
For US and US-Intl both (R3 and R4) keys are effectively |\.

So my suggestion would be to replace the blank key with |\ also, or leave it as is.

Now I got you and I can comment on that because I use R5 profile in one board and the regular R4 in other and they do not match well, even divided by the spacebar they will not look even, I suggest you to use other set with 1.5 and 1.25 modifiers in the same R4 profile. I will try to make a picture to compare them when I have good lighting.

Hey, thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately I didn't see the interest check before this GB was launched, otherwise I would have said something earlier. 

I still don't like the blank key, because it will look odd. I'd prefer ANY legend over none. Maybe you can do a mini poll among the user that ordered an ISO kit? Legend vs. non legend?
