Title: Key(s) dimensions(width, breadth, depth) HHKB Pro 2 English vs Japanese layout?
Post by: usitawi on Tue, 18 May 2010, 22:09:59
I am intending to replace the keys on two HHKB Pro 2 JP layout, but learnt that PFU carries non-printed keys for the EN layout and not the JP layout. So, I am contemplating of buying 3(!) sets of non-printed keys for the EN layout and use them where it is feasible on the JP keyboard. This prompted me with the following list of questions.

HHKB Pro 2 JP :

HHKB Pro 2 EN :

Between the HHKB Pro 2 English and the Japanese:
- Are the alphabet and numerical keys of the same dimension?
- Is the ESC, Tab, Control and the left Shift key of the same dimension?
- In the JP layout, the keys in the last row starting with Fn through the right arrow key, are they of the same dimension as that of an alphabet or a numeric key in either layout?

Thank you for your time and input!
