Plum 96- IMSTO came through :D
« on: Mon, 12 November 2012, 16:51:37 »
Received my two PLUM 96 Blue and Brown switches in black POM.  They are in great condition and the quality of these keyboards is worth the money to ship to the US.  Thank you again!

Thats not too bad.

The quality seems.. I will await a later review about how the quality holds in comparison.. to say your costar built Das keyboard.
I don't think it has a plate, is that correct? Any problems with PCB flex?

There's no issues with PCB flex, and in fact this is refreshing not to have a plate.  The keyboard makes a different sound.  The POM material is very nice and I know the laser etched legends will last for a long time.  I'm using my Plum with brown switches right now at work, and it's been going strong for well over 22 hours since I received the keyboards yesterday.  For the price these are worth the risk of defect.  As long as the controller wasn't defective it would be pretty easy to service this keyboard.  It's meant to be taken apart and modded.  Really a great design.

I wrote up this brief, first impression, review of this keyboard.

Looks good, I like this layout alot for a TKL-sized board along with the similar 7bit Phantom layout
