I love that you kept your board in its original condition.

Likewise, that's a sick board, Hoff. Sometimes restoration or even personalization of the case is nice, but this is very classy.

Hehe thanks guys.  :)  If it were in significantly worse condition, I'd certainly consider having some work done - but as it is, I just like how it looks all dirty and worn.  :D

I'm planning on putting those on, just need to decide if I want to mix them with TA in some way...  Probably won't work, but we'll see.

Alphas of one set, modifiers of the other, or total blending?

Unsure yet...  Even though both are in the blue-green family, they are really quite different.  Might be best to keep them separate and switch it up time to time.  I'll see tomorrow in daylight.

Gorgeous pictures! That keyboard and its details is amazing. Are there problems with the LEDs and those dip sockets with keycaps?

GMK Cyan on top of GMK Triumph Adler -- very different.  The Cyan alphas are a warm creamy light color, and TA alphas are a gray with a bit of cold tinge to it, in comparison.

Added to my keyboard:

No 7x spacebar for it, still locating it =/

Trying out a bit of Cyan and Magenta

I was going to use a yellow/cyan Esc and Yellow shifts from EK, but mine have black legends, so they don't quite match.

Wow that looks absolutely stunning! I really love the anodization on that board. Did you get it done at a local shop? I'm thinking of getting my LSv2 re-anodized to an awesome color like that. :thumb:

Yeah, I did.  It was a "wine" red before, which was a neat color too.  I used Caswell Turquoise dye.  It's a bit less green vs. GMK's cyan, but both change color and color intensity a lot depending on lighting.

Oh yeah, the entire story for this board was really cool. Just how the metal work guy was able to bend it back into shape and have it looking practically mint. The anodizing job was fantastic as well.

Thank you very much, I need to find a shop around me to do it. Well I have one but just been too lazy to get a quote. Caswell has some exceptional colors.

What color are you thinking of getting your Lightsaver redone in, Steez? Lime green, or maybe a paintball gun style splash of multiple colors? :P

The latter style is one that's always intrigued me, but I'm not even sure who'd offer that aside from companies that, well... specialize in that kinda stuff.

I still want to get my Lightpad v1 redone in red, but now that I'm getting an Orion v2 in black, I'm conflicted. It would match my Hammer Alps board, and my Octagon v1, but then not match the Orion.

Could always do the v1 in red, and get one of the new Lightpads in black. They're likely going to offer the new ones in red, so it would be kind of neat to have a v1 in red, since it wasn't offered. Kind of like some funky foreshadowing.

Either that or blue. I'm so binary. Green or pink would be fun, haha.

I was pretty intrigued by those, despite the comic sans that everyone criticized.  If it ever re-runs, I might actually get one for the case and mod it.

Idk I'm really like the color that Photoeletric has. I've been dying to get a sky blue color, that seems like a decent enough match to go with, unless I can find other dyes to work with. Green is a sweet color but there aren't that many keysets to match it. I would love to get a pink board but I'd only ever use it maybe once a month since I'm not manly enough to make it my daily driver. :p

Sky Blue would be exactly that turquoise color.  Just different words for different countries.  Although Gon's version of Sky Blue is more blue than cyan, looking at Sifo's cases.

Yeah it's a beautiful color, only if I could find out where Sifo lives so I could snag that LZ S for myself. ;)

The SIP sockets aren't an issue but the LED's were a little too big for these keycaps so I will get some 2x3x4 LEDs sometime and throw them in there

Re-anodizing can be a little risky but so worth in my opinion. Every board that has been redone looks 10x better.

Always wondered if paintball shops would anodize keyboards. There aren't any strict tolerances to cover so  i think the the only major concern would be size.

GMK Cyan on top of GMK Triumph Adler -- very different.  The Cyan alphas are a warm creamy light color, and TA alphas are a gray with a bit of cold tinge to it, in comparison.

No 7x spacebar for it, still locating it =/

Trying out a bit of Cyan and Magenta

I was going to use a yellow/cyan Esc and Yellow shifts from EK, but mine have black legends, so they don't quite match.
the cyan looks better than the TA
that boards are really beautiful!

Looks great with those GMK caps! I love that board so much. How it looks and the backstory on it. For those that don't know, this is what the board looked like originally.
