It was not originally included, nope.  IIRC it was part of the upgrade we got along with the swap to Leeku PCB.

You have to join a group buy, pay a deposit, wait a few months through regular updates, have the organizer go AWOL for a year, wait for someone else to graciously pick up the pieces, pay the rest of the money for the board you've practically forgotten about, and then miraculously receive it in the mail a few weeks later.

Simple enough.

That's pretty much what I've heard from anyone doing SMDs. One of the main reasons I won't do 'em :D
Surface mount diodes and resistors are fine. It's just those 4 pin LEDs that bend me over with no lube.
