Some keyboards i've made recently

A87 ps2avr - this keyboard broke about 18 months ago, so 2 weeks ago I put a new pcb in it, now it works again. Rejoice.

orignally this was the first JD40 I ever made, and it was also the only one that never worked, it was always intended for Bunny. It was also the only board that I didn't test prior to soldering it up - it is also then only teensy 2.0 I've ever seen that hasn't worked, a lot of firsts! at the weekend I finally got around to taking apart and removing the teensy and soldering a new one and putting it back together. Because I flush solder teensy's it was particularly hard to remove. I used a hot bed, a lot of hot air, until it pretty much fell off, and I burnt all my fingers. The switches are vintage clears, lubed, springs lubed, sliders lubed again, stickers and clear tops. the case is painted and then lacquered.

Bunny will hopefully take better pictures after I've dropped it round his.
I got boards.

first time shooting in a while since my camera was stolen in january. my friend let me borrow her nikon d3300 for a california trip, but i took the opportunity to take some keyboard shots too. i know my desk isn't the cleanest thing in the world, but don't nitpick (please). i was just excited to get a picture of my latest keyboard build.

leandren black gon nerd 60 with smd side lighting and 2x3x4 leds (i need to replace them with 1.8mm). 62g linear gateron clears. i didn't have enough leds to cover the whole keyboard, so i only have leds in the center keys and the spacebar... but i'll fix it when more leds come in the mail lol.

Let's get this straight. There is nothing cool about keyboards we're all lame as fk.

I found a couple of them on the Electronic Bay last week, keeping one for myself and gifting another to someone that gave me some of their Nuclear Data extras when I was still searching for a full set. Haven't been able to find any more though /:

Hahahaha, eBay. I checked with the seller already, they said those were the only ones they had and they don't specialize in keyboards or anything like that. There are some interesting old boards on there though, I saw a really cool raytheon one, but a lot of the cooler looking ones are pretty pricey, and some that aren't it's hard to tell if they're worth getting anyway since shipping an old board is likely to cost at $20-30.

Yea, I kinda figured that's what you were talking about. Just never heard anyone refer to it that way before. And yea, I've been checking around there for old stuff but I have to refrain for now since I just joined a few GB's recently and I'm waiting for those projects to show up.

Yea, I kinda figured that's what you were talking about. Just never heard anyone refer to it that way before. And yea, I've been checking around there for old stuff but I have to refrain for now since I just joined a few GB's recently and I'm waiting for those projects to show up.

Same here, there are basically only a few keyboard related things I'm looking for at the moment, then I'm looking to downsize some of my sets: Rad Hard, Nuka Cola (SA) and more Honeywell keycaps (I want to do more mods with them). Once I've downsized I might look into getting a Gon Nerd Crystal (or the case, at least) and a Hammer case (if one can be found). But that's it, I swear!
