Title: Xornet firmware differences between v50 and v70 series?

I recently picked up a Xornet for $15 to try out.  I looked on the website, and there are two different series of firmwares available, v50 and v70.  The readme in each series seems to indicate the same features ie. v51 and v71 are the same, v52 and v72 are the same etc. So, why would I choose a v50 or v70 firmware?
