a fellow gh'er just made me aware of this
i actually invested some time in this on my own before the site went down. between myself and another forum member i was going to go through on a couple dozen for a trial run, however since coming up with the new site we are i guess in limbo for a new logo.
i did go to a local graphics company and we worked on the old logo with the old colors (minus keyboard enthusiasts)
..............which now appears to be old business. i still think it is better than the new logo's but it's what everybody wants i guess.........
to keep the quality it was pointed out i had to go with a larger format color printer that prints in a 54" roll versus a smaller die cut 4 color process thermal printer. the smallest sticker-decal with the quality we would want would have been .5 x 3.5........13 per row with margins or multiples of 13- a protective laminate was an option. it's basically just a transfer to the surface- basically like a decal you would put on glass vs a bumper sticker.
we also thought before we did anything it would have been appropriate to check with imav............, but since the forum never settled on a logo i just left it alone. we wanted to try to get the size small enough to fit above the arrows on a tenkeyless at least as well.
this would be a huge under taking who ever would take it on in a group buy. it was brought up that maybe if everybody was on-board to add a buck or something for a donation to go to maintaining the forum.
