I know the Leopold stabilizers are different than a Filco, but are the keys the same?

I would love to buy some doubleshots if so, and man oh man, with proper Ctrl/Caps flip and Meta keys... they would be perfect.

If they are similar to the cherry stabilizers then yes. Ducky 1087s use cherry stabilizers and my keys fit fine.

They will fit fine, but won't fit the spacebar, which kinda instantly ruins the colorscheme.

The spacebar should fit both ducky and leopold since the cross points match.

It is the cherry keyboards that won't fit because the spacebar crosspoint is slightly off center.

Until you actually get a mechanical keyboard, please stop talking about stuff you do not have the slightest clue about.

Ducky will fit, Cherry will fit (g80-3000 winkey, g80-1800 winkey) since the Korean guys who originally ordered the set that we cloned designed it to fit both the Filco and Cherry.

Leopold does not fit because it uses an entirely differently aligned spacebar, because it is made by an entirely different OEM.

the stabilizers are nearer to the switch? btw, are the keys pbt? I couldn't find any clue abt them talking abt the material used for their keycaps. I am assuming that if they use pbt, they will talk abt it.

Yes, thats right. Cross-Stabilizers are closer to the switch, leaving more space on each side of the spacebar.

Yeah, its ABS. I originally assumed PBT, but had corrected it later after I had received confirmation from my contact.

Well just cause i dont have one yet doesn't mean i don't know some stuff i've read about.

Sorry if i can't get 100% facts straight sometimes; i'm still learning. Like everything on the internet take with a grain of salt :/ But it's distasteful how you seem to think that your the sole authority on mech keyboard just cause you own some :/ let others have their own assumptions; and yes i'll gladly learn from my mistakes. But i can do without your condescending tone thank you very much your lordship.

I checked the underside of the gh set and there seems to be an extra cross point off center. So you might be right. Careless mistake on my part.

This i was not aware of. But honest mistake seeing as how leopold and ducky look very similar don't they. I am aware that some keyboards have longer and shorter spacebars; but i thought ducky spacebar is the norm size and standard ?

Didn't really mean to be that offensive, apologies. However, I don't think its a good idea to spread half-truths and total guesses though. Especially not when questions have been answered correctly several times in several threads including this very one (including once just two posts before your post), for example by people posting pictures of them working fine on Cherry keyboards and elsewhere of people reporting the spacebar not to work on the Leopold board.

Knowledge is not about the amount of keyboards you own, some of the most knowledgeable people on this board barely own a few. But if you want to learn and gain knowledge you should at least bother to invest some time researching (or in this case, even only scrolling back a few posts) instead of mindlessly spreading wrong info.

You just happened to be in the target of my monday-morning-rage. Apologies again.

If it wasn't your intention then i believe you.

You must forgive me because part of my thought process is conjectures and yes i have a habit of speaking them out.

But this to me is good cause then you or others can correct me then i can learn something :X

I'll try to keep it at minimum :/ (but don't expect miracles)

Anyway :X like squarebox showed in his pics the cherry keyboard does support it.

That looks seriously sexy :d

Actually I have spent a lot of time Moogle correcting your false statements.

Chill with the speculation dude.  Even MW at 4000+ posts at least owns a couple of mechanical keyboards.

This isn't OCN.

bad news. Seems Walrus has said the keyboard has been delayed for another week :rip:

Funny because i saw on  a few occasions you kept saying Topre was nKRO. technically it is but functionally it doesn't because you need to mod to get it to work so i am told. So you too are spreading misconceptions which i helped to correct :/

Those were from a group buy that came and went. We are doing a new version now so hurry up and send in your vote/order. The color scheme is the same on the standard set in said group buy.

Hmm I'll have to go through and read the round 4 wiki again. Any suggestions on what I should do for a space bar that matches? Also should I get like a confirmation email after sending this PM to 7bit_r4

Well theres different size spacebars for each keyboard. If you have a Filco, I think its just RD3/Spacebar/Filco or something like that. There is still a design in the works/background that encompasses several spacebars but that is up to 7bit to include later.
