I'm guessing that keyboard would not shift around a whole lot while you are typing ;)

No pics at the moment, but the Soarer adaptor is not just for 122s.

I've installed one in the Focus 2001 I got from the Sandy fundraiser.  It doesn't feel or sound like the 2001s I used to get from the scrap shops, but those are:

1.  Older units; this one has a Windows key, so it presumably features simplified switches.
2.  Heavily worn.   I assume this one is better, but it seems to stick a lot.  The "S" key in particular repeats frequently.  I hope it will work itself clear soon, or I need to write captions for reptilians. :)
3.  Connected direct on AT, as opposed to via the Soarer adaptor I desoldered from a 122 I had been using at the office.

does a dolch adapter count ;0

for whatever reason the particular phone line splitter i purchased was perfect for this application, i simply screwed the ps/2 cable wires underneath the existing screws inside of the housing, snipped a bit off of the cable grommet and snapped it back together.  easiest and cleanest DIY dolch adapter ever.

Very tidy - and a good excuse for hanging on to those little things that you might otherwise throw out (he says, making a note of that next time his other half complains about all the stuff he has collected).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
