I remember being fond of the typing experience back when I would occasionally use one, but as somebody mentioned in another thread, the A1048's tended to get nasty over time if you're not religious about keeping them clean.  They are membrane technology, so nothing "special" in that sense, but the secret of this hobby is that if you like it and it keeps working, it's a good keyboard.  In the US, clean ones on eBay tend to go for about $20-$30 shipped, plus any tax.

Unicomp Model M
Filco Tenkeyless with Cherry MX Brown switches

wjrii:
DIY "Hybrid-wired" no-stabs FRL 1800.  Matrix is a PCB, but that PCB is hand wired to the MCU, which also serves as the daughterboard.  3D printed case is loosely based on old beamspring boards and the M0110/HHKB. Akko SA-L and Box Navy.

Subdromat:
Tada68 with Tofu65 case and undefined XDA caps, flimsy as it can be

Litton Systems, Keyboard With Housing, KB-1. Circa 1997 or a little later.

Actually an Alphameric/Devlin sealed capacitive rubber dome inside a powder-coated sheet-steel case.   Mushy bottom out, but true NKRO, 3 pounds, and looks cool AF.
