This mod is more & more great. Thanks for added 1.5 mod with B profile :)
You're welcome!

Just waiting on GMK for mockups now.

Also, I asked for an ETA on cmyw, so hopefully that is coming soon! Once I receive the caps, I am to get all of the US packages out one weekend and then international the next.

Yeah. It seems your plan is very advantage. Finish CMYW soon & wait mockups to run Green mod haha :)
Hope there isn't any problem on road.

But I seems don't like windowed caps because it's not double shot caps while alsmost others is DS caps :( Sorry to tjweir but that is only personal idea :)

There are DS windowed Caps Lock keys out there, hard to find though.

I don't really know where to post this, so why not here?

Does anyone remember a few months ago a Chinese member claiming he bought 250 sets of gmk Olivetti and red alert? Well, he wasn't joking!

Looks pretty good except for wrong legend on insert and delete! I'm going to get a red alert set for my Corsa ^-^

I thought this thread was an interest check for a modifiers set, now it is populated with other totally unrelated ones? I am confused now.
I just posted this here because I didn't want to make a new thread. Just letting people know this set is out there! This thread is still for the green mod set :)

I hope that is wrong price on those full set... $185 is way too much, even my sets with lot of additional key is less.

what i heard was, the RMB 1150 or USD$185 includes a keycap box (i am guessing somewhat similar to Raindrop's deluxe box) and some special resin novelty key(s), and also to cover for shipping and tax.

I dig it! What was pricing like? I see a few keys I feel could be removed if needed for cost reasons.

I don't have a quote on pricing yet. I also have keys marked down that will be excised if we need to lower the cost.

I'm curious what keys are under consideration to be removed.

My personal, individual opinion is that HHKB support is awesome and while I like N7 and AE more than 3B I think 3B will go very well to modify a beige set.

I really like your choice of legends   :thumb:

One minor change you could think about is changing the ISO enter key to icon + text as well (like Ivan's cyan enter from the Dolch GB color pack).

Besides that I think you could drop the "alt gr" keys (I am saying this as an ISO user). Half of the legends are wrong for us anyway so why bother with the small detail. I actually prefer my spacebar to be surrounded by symmetric alt keys :D

I don't understand the idea behind the Row 1 "DEL END, PG DN" keys. Is that for Lightsaver support?

I also really like the color (although it's always hard to judge by the mockup). I think it would really go well with vintage cherry beige set that are widely available on ebay for cheap  :thumb:

I'll be interested in an AE set.
No idea if I want either of the other two.

Ok, I like that since I have a Lightsaver V2, but it really doesn't make sense if the numpad math symbols are not included.

Speaking of numpad support:

I'd rather drop the R5 keys and add "num lock, / * - + ENTER"

Fair enough, but imho the 1800 support only makes sense with the numpad mods as well.

In sake of keeping the set as cheap as possible the Row 1 "DEL END, PG DN" keys could be dropped I think.

Thanks guys.

R5 is staying for sure. 1800 and B profile are first on the chopping block if we need to make changes

HHKB is also staying for sure.

Also,  the control legends will be "control" not "ctrl"

I hadn't thought of this until now, but I agree with you.  It would be goofy to have some of those be green and some not.  :(

This could also have to do with the rise of 75% and 65% boards recently.
I'm on the fence with this one.
On one hand, I say, "Go all the way or don't do it at all."
Yet on the other hand I'm thinking, "I'll allow it."

Just keep in mind that the original idea for this GB is to keep it small and not that expensive, otherwise the 85/15 story may repeat here: one set for all, but a set that would not reach its MoQ.

I sent an email asking for the price of the current set. I'm trying to keep it as close to $50 as possible. Once we get that quote we can all work from there.

The colour looks kind of like baby diarrhea?  Discounting that, seems like the almost perfect replacement mods for a Black on ???? set (perfect would have have keys for the numpad as well, but i'm glad for 75% support).

The OP mentioned Photekq's classic beige. I didn't see an IC for that. Not sure I looked well enough either though. Definitely a pairing I would very much like to get a board under.

I refer to old Cherry sets actually, they are similar to Photekq's but they usually do have win key less bottom rows, therefore you need a set like the one in this GB to have them fit a modern standard ANSI keyboard. Also WoB Cherry may be mix and match with this one, there are some sets that are being sold for around $15 US now at ebay. Beiges are far more scarce but they worth to have.

Alt Gr caps may be easily replace by Alt ones, I use them actually but I can live without them; however the others will prevent the set to be a full replacement for the nine block keys required by TKL and Full size boards, you should reconsider that, otherwise all those with such keyboard would not join. Also an ESC key would be a good addition if someone want a symmetric layout.

Given that he's getting rid of the R1 del/end/pgdn keys, we lost 75% support (R1 profile keys work great for the far right keys on keycool 84/noppoo mini/ MX mini), so adding the 8 keys to get full size support doesn't seem very likely.  Oh well.  Might as well ditch the HHKB-sized caps too, since there can't be more than 100 people worldwide that use that layout.  :)

wait, where is the esc
There is a separate escape pack. He didn't send the mockups for it
great! cause I do want a matching-colored esc. but it'll be better if I can only buy the matching-colored one, not a ton of esc(s).

There's only 3, so it will only be a few dollars ^-^

Please let me know your thoughts on the set and the color

Honestly I'd much prefer white on AE but I understand that I'm in the minority. I've never really been a fan of black legends on anything other than beige/white.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Like am I the only one that thinks a full mod set of these with WoB alphas would look awesome?

Nope.   :thumb:

I think that this is going for a more subdued look, though, so that's the reason for the choice.  Obviously billnye can comment further on that though.

AE is nice, but CB goes well with more sets.

Gamer sets are so boring!
Give us CODE keys!
I could do that, any particular colorways you would want that in?

I plan on asking GMK if they have any other random molds that would be unique.

I'm thinking of the original white on lime.

There might be other that people would love like white on cyan, but I have no idea really. I just think the code key is amazing.

I doubt that does GMK really have the tool for that CODE key because I believe I have seen a picture showing that the CODE key was made with a different mold than what GMK used, but I may be wrong

You are right, GMK does use a different mold for their code.
The text is centred, in a different font and has "Code" instead of "CODE"

Although it still isn't a bad idea.

If we could do a white on lime ( is that AE? same as Ivan's green spacebars?) I'd probably order 6+ sets

Yep that's the one. I've got space bars ready and waiting too.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Regardless I'll always try to be down for one set. Also this color would work perfect with my commodore which I believe is the intention in the vintage set.

However who needs vintage when you can have lime green!!!

If this doesn't happen in a few months I'm running it :thumb:
