Samples of 1, then sample chips of each other color to compare.

A sample of all would be too expense :(

I'm in for like 3 of these. Either 2 sandwich (if that is still a thing) and 1 RAMA or 1 sandwhich and 2 RAMA.

The matte black render feels a little difficult to compare to the other renders since it has a black background. It's a really impressive looking render though. Would it be possible to also see it against a white background?

Yeah I'm down for one.  I like the interesting design elements including the button cap screws on the side.  Pretty rad.

So this is the bottom where the POM/acrylic layer would screw in to the four screw holes pictured, correct? Exciting progress, no doubt.

Also, we're updating the plate and PCB to support a tad more for the GB. Looks exciting!

We're trying to add the mounting holes to support it, but I cannot 100% confirm about it until we receive our sample.

The RS68 PCB is a tad longer (not wider) and only 2 holes line up :P

Oh now that I think about it, that makes sense...

Still, moulds are expensive to engineer and manufacture. For a product of this type, injection moulding is impractical

My previous comment applies. For an exceedingly low volume product like this, it's most likely milled

Did I miss an update from you somewhere? Looks like you've added ISO support for the layout.
Does that go for the Rama case too?

If so, that is super f*cking cool of you.

dont know! still waiting for a solid prototype.

Pricing is changing however. We have to go with a better manufacturer as we've run into some issues that are not acceptable for the quality we want.

Hey everyone,

Here's some updates so you know that this project is still in progress.

1) We have to switch manufacturers due to a lack of quality we saw with the Nylon

2) Our first sample was changed to 100% aluminum and ships out on Tuesday.

3) Our second sample (from the manufacturer who has quality control on Nylon) ships out next Friday.

With the better manufacturer, we will have a small price bump of about $30.00 USD for the case.

More pics to come & happy holidays to all

Looking neat tho.

Original pricing IIRC was:

$175 @ 100 units
$165 @ 200 units

PCB - $50.00

New pricing for only the Case is:

$210 @ 100 units
$195 @ 200 units
$170 @ 300 units.

So it went up $35 & $30 for each. Not a huge dent, but one nonetheless.

Shipping ConUS is about $20.00 IIRC (don't quote me) at about 4LBS.

Shipping International is most likely $45.00 via USPS at about 4LBS.

This is ballpark of everything. I want to be 100% transparent with this. This is a premium case designed by the best industrial designer we all know and love, so quality is at the top of all of this. I hope ya'll understand that we had to switch manufacturers as the quality of the nylon from the 1st was unacceptable.

Yessir. Black PCB. Gold Trace. And the PCB has been updated to support the layouts we have. We just need to finalize the plate.
