I received a set, which looks great by itself.
But I was curious as to how the colors matched those of a North American SNES. A bit silly since the consoles have aged in different ways depending on when they were built and how, ah, loved they were, but oh well. Apologies for my lack of photographic skills (no editing, taking next to a window in overcast conditions) and my well-used and degrodelated SNES.
NTD's grey is on the warm side, actually closer to the yellowed (and surprisingly dirty, wow, sorry!) portions of the SNES case compared to the colder grey of the cartridge slot, but closest to the controller. Though I realized the colors used on the SNES are not all the same: the yellowed grey obviously doesn't match the non-yellowed cartridge slot, but that's different from the controller's warmer grey (which may have yellowed some with time too). The dark purple controller buttons are very different than the very-purple power switches on the console (NTD's purple is a bit more saturated than those). The light purple is quite close to the controller's light purple.
