Is there a specific reason to make north facing? It’s not like the PCB is offering RGB by default and want to work well with shine through key caps. Not to mention north facing will have interference issue with GMK key caps.

I'd like to see what the colors look like once the samples are in. I really like the Missing F row and Winkeyless layout. Not sure about the offset arrow keys tho.

For IC Review: This is a straight tombstone for me. Alot of questions:
- Some more background on the group and board would be good
- Why is the pcb north facing
- Why are you running the GB so soon after getting the prototype, no info about pricing or vendors, where will it ship from
- Why is the board so tall that you need fill the case area with the infill on the weight

Unless these are answered I could never recommend buying this board. Best of luck and I look forward to updates.

- rendered design, because there's not much demand for switch facing
-All the GB details will be updated after the prototype finished, I just hope can run this GB in January, but not sure the estimated time
-add the plate and case foam to improve the hand feel and give a  different experience

I would say that south facing switches are a 'must have' for designs at this point.

Cherry profile keycaps are one of, if not the most common, type of keycap profile, and will be unusable if all the rows are north facing.

I personally would not buy this board without this change.
