So, 60:

Silver w/ blue.
Black w/ silver.
Black w/ blue.

65:

Black w/ silver.
Silver w/ blue.

Yep, with one clarification, the case top/bottom is actually a light gray, not silver, but it's not immediately obvious from the pictures. I'll try to get a comparison shot of the light gray next to the silver mid parts.

Should be 6pm for the 60% & 65% aluminum and 1pm on a weekend for the brass. Actually moved the times back to make it a bit better for west coast folks :-[

In case anyone's curious, here's the shade of light gray case compared to a silver mid:

Will the brass editions come with the light grey color combination as well or is it all black/brass?

Any combination pictured on the product pages should be available at the time of the sale, but I'll clarify again before those sales go live:

It's somewhere between the LZ shine gray and sliver I see.  The gray with blue is mine.  No one else is allowed to buy it.

Thanks for the pictures , these grey shades are all so nice imo.  Any chance you could show the silver next to the darker grey in a similar picture?

For now, no. They'll only be available with kits because we have a limited stock. If there are extras however, they'll be available to buy separately after boards have been sold.

The plate unfortunately has a small mistake in that the right shift cutout on the plate supports both split and full shift, but the PCB only supports split shift (full shift didn't make sense with the arrow cluster).

Edit: while we're at it, 60% supported layouts as well

Everything was out of stock in 4 minutes flat for me.

Shopify seems weird. Someone reported that an option was gone straight away, but it was still in stock for me after 2 minutes.

Just rebuilt this for the third and hopefully final time, heh.
Black/silver aluminum No. 1/60 with polycarbonate half plate and 78g v2 zilents lubed with 3204
Figuring out how to handle half plate switch solder alignment was interesting learning experience, lol

Cherry profile looks killer and sounds/feels cobblestoney but SA types especially nice with this, I don't know how to describe it other than "juicy".
Weighs more than I imagined, the brass version must be really hefty.

Case assembly and VIA usage was absolute cinch.
I love it! Thank you

Nice build! but oof that gap tho.... albeit small gap

I thought a $500 board in 2019 would have addressed these issues.

Did the TKL also have this gap issue ?

Edit: For clarification I was talking about the first picture, but looking the second picture there is a pretty heinous gap-age (maybe its the angle of the photo -shrug-).  Upon second look of the first photo. It seems R3 and R5 caps are not pushed all the down on the stem causing the gaps? R1 is slowly creeping as well. Best scenario we get R2 and R4 with maybe like 1-2mm of seepage, if people care about that sort of thing.

Actually your instinct is correct I didn't push the keys in fully >_<
Also the plate is free-wheeling between the gaskets so if there's sidegaps just gotta unscrew and reseat it.
If the rows look uneven.. well that's probably due to my positioning of switches on the half-plate.
The pcb-mount pegs sat fairly loose in the pcb so on my first attempt using just a heavy book to keep things in place rows were misaligned and keys were all up in each other's way.
I desoldered alphas again and jerry-rigged a grid out of tons of folded paper to space stuff correctly (or at least functionally)... but then that paper wouldn't let me push down as hard on the switches.

Typing more on this I'm really diggin gmk profile for it now.

Typing more on this I'm really diggin gmk profile for it now.

thanks for the pics, but I agree, the gap is maybe not the best first picture we were hoping for! Would appreciate any other pictures you have time to take.

Here dyrdevil, have a bag of potatoes, sorry for the lighting best I can manage right now.
I tried to adjust the plate to even out the gaps on all sides as much as possible.  The switches on Esc/Caps/L.Ctrl are still slightly visible at the right angle but I notice those are hidden if I tilt the key to the left.  Before I tangled with the naked alphas I soldered in the "ring" of polycarb seated mods.  As the polycarb plate is very soft, when I soldered them in I think they bowed toward the middle of the board as I pushed down which exposed their underside to the left.  They could probably do with a desoldering and realigning with spacers this time but I'll tackle that tomorrow.  I never really appreciated what a rigid plate can do for alignment before this build, just took it for granted I guess.
