I PLAY SOME DOS GAMES AS WELL. SIMCITY CLASSIC AND RAILROAD TYCOON ARE A COUPLE OF MY FAVORITES. I'VE ALSO GOT THE OLD EL-FISH GAME THAT THE RUSSIANS DESIGNED BACK IN THE EARLY 1990'S. BUT USUALLY I STICK TO SOLITAIRE, MINESWEEPER, OR SIMCITY AND RAILROAD TYCOON. ALWAYS NICE TO KEEP THE GAMEPLAY SIMPLE.

The simple games are nice, but I need something to put the sick power of my Microsoft® SideWinder GamePad to use every once in a while too!

They put it off once, and it's on TV adverts now as the release date.

SO IT MUST BE TRUE.

I get paid two days before so, it is getting purchased for sure.

Don't think there is much information about the PC port atm, Ubisoft is very hit and miss unfortunately.

I HIGHLY doubt that the frame rate would be locked to 30fps on the PC version, and you'll certainly be able to play the game at 1080p or better. It'll come down to how powerful your PC is, but the game won't be "maxed out" at 30fps and 900p on the PC version.

I would bloody hope not :( It's probably the first game I've been properly looking forward to since GTA V, and I'm still waiting on a PC port for that as well.

I think I will stream a few hours of Watchdogs on Tuesday night when I get it. I've set up everything in OBS, so hopefully it should go alright.

Gonna be losing my streaming viginity =/ just search my name and you will find me if you fancy watch me be terrible.

I'm looking forward to Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth. Played Civ 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5; but not a hardcore player. The best is always the beginning, the first turns - and then start again, because it could be better!

It's a great game that runs like ****. I had to keep quitting the game, because the choppiness was so bad (for PC). And I am running a very beefy rig, too.

Performance issues aside, it is fun.

It runs smooth enough for me, but there were some pretty annoying issues with flickering and whatnot that would show up after about 10 minutes, in some cases it'd be a separate image constantly flickering on top of everything. The game could  use another patch or two dealing with performance issues.

But yeah, it's fun. Like any AAA game these days it's a lot simpler and less revolutionary than the marketing hypetrain wants you to think. It's a solid game though, but as far as canine-based titles go, Sleeping Dogs is still better.

I BSOD'd three times before updating to beta AMD drivers. But now I'm running it on high quality and the graphics are fine, decent framerate and stuff. I do occasionally get a key constantly signalling at the worst of times so I run out into an area I'm trying to sneak through and get shot to ****.

As for Sleeping vs Watch dogs, I feel W_D will have a lot more replayability, and I think I prefer the hacking mechanic to the combat in SD, which is kind of boths USP. Hell, I love the hacking mechanics, and doing it seamlessley is so satisfying. Also the ability to be able to choose between stealth and shooting is great. It's really satisfying to take out a whole area full of enemies without being detected once.

I do like the hacking, but WD suffers from the "let's put some guns in there" thing that most sandbox games get. Unless you're really careful and sneaky, any shootout tends to turn into a massive chase and then the cops show up and then all of a sudden there's a massive cluster**** even though you just wanted to take out one guy. They do let you stop people from reporting it in, which is a very nice feature compared to most other games that just have the cops show up the moment you fire an unsilenced weapon.

I think it'd been much better if they approached shooting in a similar way to SD, that'd have you rely more on hacking and non-lethal takedowns. Would also make for some interesting story possibilities since, afaik, he was mostly just a hacker before. Big difference between hacking someone's bank account and killing someone, but the whole "turning killer" thing doesn't work all that well when you get used to gunning down hordes of goons.  That's where Sleeping Dogs stands out imo, the way combat and shooting is handled there makes for a much tighter story and when you do kill someone it's got way more impact.

If this DLC is exponentially more difficult than the main game as it was with the DS1 DLC, it should be pretty fun. Brutal, and rage inducing fun :)
