[IC]High65 - A TD Studio take on Filco FC660m

High65

Hello everyone,
We are TD studio, and this is our 2nd board that we would like to share with you
High 65
First of all, we are greatly appreciated for your support on the Hi-finger 7.5(Extreme75) 300 units were sold out, which was far beyond our expectations and made us greatly encouraged. However, a number of people dm me that "this board is gorgeous, but I can't get use to this layout." Thus, we are ready to launch a new keyboard more common layout.

Inspiration:
The original intention of designing this board is that I really like the layout of the Filco FC660m.The layout is really comfortable, but I wanted a different typing feeling. Therefore, we try to make this kit variable, which means this board can meet different users, and you can experience three different mounts on it.

Specifications
Case material: 6063 Aluminum
Typing angle: 6.5°
Mount: top/gasket/ Tray&leaf-spring
Colors: Black 3c,Gray 10c,Blue 654c,Off-white
Plate:
Top mount plate (6063 Aluminum)
Gasket mount plate(PC/POM)
Tray&leaf-spring mount plate (PC/POM)
Sale method:
Quantity:
Price:
Date:

Mounts:
1.Top mount:A traditional structure. Through excellent consistency, top mount is solid and stiff for those who want a more fuller sound.
2. Gasket mount: The most popular structure nowadays won’t be absent. Gasket mount has an outstanding sound and soft touch. We will be integrating a similar design from Hi-finger75.
3.Tray&leaf-spring mount: The traditional tray mount may have some shortcomings, but in High-65, we creatively cut leaf springs at the screw holes on the PCB (refer to the PCB diagram) to make sure that the overall typing experience is comfortable, and do our best to achieve a balance between consistency and soft elasticity.

About PCB:
Thickness: 1.2mm
Soldered or Hot-swap PCB available

Hot-swap PCB layout:

Soldered PCB layouts:

About plate:
As we provide 3 different mounts, there’ll be 3 different plates for everyone to choose. You can pick whichever you like according to your preference or buy them all XD!

Plate materials:
Top Mount Plate:6063 Aluminum
Gasket Mount Plate:PC, POM
Tray&leaf-spring Mount Plate: PC, POM

About appearance:
Our layout is very close to FC660m, but some details have been remodified in the bottom row.

We specially place the conventional caps indicator light on the left border for separate display and aesthetic, btw it’s more obvious to be noticed when typing.

Colors:

In addition, we’ve reserved a battery hole on the bottom shell. We are testing our BLE version PCB and information will be updated later.

Looks good, but you're thinking of Leopold FC660M.

Looks pretty minimalistic and I really like the grey. I'm just afraid of what the pricepoint will be for this.

The manufacturer is create keebs right ? So lead time should be short. Will there be any geometrical features that center the top and bottom part for a nice clean fit ?

hmm, i think this would look better w/o blocker. 660 is a very pleasing layout to look at.

This has everything I need as someone who has wanted a nice 660 for the longest time except good colour options. Not having a price yet is a big concerning though.

You are missing a large rectangle that has numbers on it.

If BLE works well on my 75, I'll get the BLE version of this too!

Please rework your plate to support split left shift.

Edit: Or just remove ISO support entirely, and only offer hotswap ANSI, if you're gonna half ass it this badly. Just realised even the solder PCB doesn't support split left shift either. ISO needs both split left shift and the big-ass enter.

Are those poron weights? So you removed material to then fill it up with foam?
