Thought I'd give you guys a heads up so you don't use up those 50 million keystrokes on your F5 key. The delay on these is for some final testing of what we hope will be the first "fair" CF sale - the most important point of which is that being on the website in the first 30 seconds of the sale won't help your chances of getting one. Just being on the newsletter should be enough.

What's odd is I signed up for the newsletter months ago and have never received a single email about anything from ek.

Also true for me, although I only signed up two days ago.  Was expecting a confirmation email or something at least, just so I knew I would get emails and such...

Even though EK point blank said that won't help as much as having the newsletter?

Thought I'd give you guys a heads up so you don't use up those 50 million keystrokes on your F5 key. The delay on these is for some final testing of what we hope will be the first "fair" CF sale - the most important point of which is that being on the website in the first 30 seconds of the sale won't help your chances of getting one. Just being on the newsletter should be enough.
Will this help those from different time zones? I just woke up from my mini nap and I am ashamed to say I dreamt about CC's.. WTF

He is just referring to server load.  Don't worry about international, etc.  They probably are expanding the sales/inventory system to support hundreds of simultaneous connections.

You never know, it's not a brick and mortar store, they could put them up for sale at any time. If they do a midnight sale, I'm in trouble as I"m on the east coast.

Drinking, like many things, becomes less enjoyable after you turn legal age. Sorry to ruin your hopes and dreams.

Very nice of EK to attempt some sort of spreading the CC "wealth" and come on here to post about it.
