HH wont work with USB/PS2 adapter?

(1/1)

I can't seem to get it to work. I re set the PC and everything but it does not get picked up at all.
Any ideas?

I thought the HHKB was a USB-only keyboard.  I don't think it supports PS/2.  I could be completely wrong, too, but I thought I just read that in the thread about the HHKB not waking up a PC in suspend.

You are most likely right itlnstln. I did not think of that! I have been trying to find away around how the keyboard will not input anything when windows first boots.
You have to press lots of keys for few seconds before it starts working.
Has always done it and its a bit annoying.

:)

itlnstln:
I have seen where motherboard support for USB input devices is pretty hit-or-miss.  I used to hate trying to dig out a PS/2 keyboard when I needed to do stuff in a DOS prompt (boot disc), or something.  I don't know why USB support can't be better, especially since many of the legacy connectors are getting phased out (like PS/2).
