It is night, the wind blows through the leaves and howls in the distance, the air carries an unnatural chill. A small house sits among the trees, weathered by the centuries, unkempt as if nothing had lived there in years. Shattered windows draped in tattered cloth blowing in the wind. Inside, a black cauldron sits filled with a purple potion, papers strewn about on the floor. The room is dark, lit only by the moon light which enters through the windows and the glow of the potion colors the room a faint purple. The house is quiet, and tension fills the air.

The floor creaks and sways as the house closes in, darkness takes over. A faint murmur can be heard in the distance, growing ever closer. Soon they surround you, voices coming from all directions. Paralyzed, you watch as mist fills the air. In front of you a pair of eyes open up as the voices stop. Silence. It slowly smiles at you, a malicious grin made of purple flames dancing in the darkness. She has awakened. Slow footsteps can be heard from behind, something is coming but you can’t move, you can’t escape. You feel weak, your vision blurring as she gets closer, her presence draining you of energy. As you lose consciousness, all you hear is the faint crackling of the flames. No longer able to breath you fall to the ground, she is standing over you. Your heart stops, and darkness takes over.

Btw EU vendor added, and talking about the accent ISO but nothing set in stone atm. As for the extra B, that is there because you can actually do alice with the basekit if you use shifts as spacebars.

Yes all custom colors but decided to not share just to make the clone manus work a smidge harder when they inevitably clone this like they did night runner...

Probably due to render lighting, a lot of these dark sets that aren't pure black will look a lot brighter in fluorescent or white LED lighting that people have in their offices.

This is what I imagine it will look like in my office, taken from Space Cables' IG

Amazing looking set, pretty much this one and Dracula will be my two main ones I rotate on a black TKL.

GMK no longer allows color matching prior to the order being placed (changed over a year ago).

I updated the main post with more neutral lighting renders (was waiting on them) so hopefully that helps!

I also asked the UK vendor on their Discord. They said they'd try to arrange with Spacecables, but haven't heard anything back yet...

I'm in, wonderful keycap set. Having the accents included in basekit is greatly appreciated too, I actually have gone back and forth a few times if I prefer accents or not accents on this particular kit.

No date yet as color matching is still underway. Round 2 for the alpha sample was identical to the first round so just waiting for round 3 of that and round 2 of the accent should be coming around the same time? Not sure when they will arrive, everything is a waiting game atm.

Got the third round alpha sample and the second round accent/legend sample and sadly both are still slightly off so another round is being ordered. This round was at least closer than the last, so we are moving in the right direction.

- Accent is getting redone as it didn't match the provided sample.

But the US website SpaceHoldings let's me add everything to the cart except the moon deskmat and novelty keycaps. Is there any way to still get in on those items? I love the whole set and would love to get 1 of everything

ProtoTypist just updated their ETA to Q2 2024 https://www.notion.so/GMK-Nightshade-c517714554ea4ea1ab95f6069d6284e0 (I know they are usually pretty generous with timeframes to allow for issues in production)

Not sure what I will be waiting longer for, this or KARA seq2 - though Space Cables did send me a Nightshade USB cable I ordered back when this ran (it was a simple cable without a coil or connector) and I'm very appreciative of them doing this.

Waiting on samples to arrive at GMK and then we should be done before christmas. There will be an announcement once that is actually confirmed by them.

Update:

Great news, the sets are already in production!!! Was waiting on a confirmation from GMK but got all the good news in one go. There is a chance for some regions to have them ship fairly soon (possibly earlier than estimated from the recent vendor updates).

Sorry for the super long wait, nothing about this process was expected and I am just happy to finally be at the end of this process so everyone can finally get their sets.

Not sure where along in the shipping route it is at the moment. GMK sent it via slow boat so it is taking longer than initially expected. Hoping for very soon!
