Completely new to this entire world but have been watching hours of videos. I recently bought a Durgod Taurus K310 keyboard but a line of the keys stopped working after 2 weeks; some problem with the PCB. I'm going to be repurposing the switches and keycaps into a 60% board, but I am curious about how the switches merge with the plate and the PCB.
Should I click all of the switches into the plate first and then line them up over the PCB before soldering? Does the plate typically screw onto the PCB and then you insert all of the switches? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
