Agreed, if this comes with the ALPS compatible PCB & plate like the Sidewinder & Raven did count me in as well! I've been sitting on a SGI Granite board I bought for the caps for too long now. Been really tempted to pick up a Sidewinder or Raven soon just for an ALPS SKCM/L build, but will wait to see if these guys will have the same support first now.

it'll get posted in here, but generally duck ICs come up on GH about 6-8 weeks before the buy starts

but with the facilities the way they are right now, i wouldn't be surprised to hear about a delay

Doubt it, no indication for polycarb afaik and I doubt that changes will be made since the Korean gb started a while ago.

There's some backstory that people like Pudsy know / can fill in - I'm too new to know the details. But the gist of it is that Duck used to offer Acrylic bottoms (different angle) and also used to offer more color options from anodizing (I am typing this from a red octagon v2 I bought on r/mechmarket). However, a production run for one of the GBs (maybe orion v2? idk) had issues: some boards had streaks in the anodizing or other production inconsistencies/defects.
After that, Duck switched fabricators? In any case - he simplified his range of offerings. I've probably grossly misrepresented the facts so I'm hoping one of the elders can chime in with the real story:)

Oh that's cool - I had no idea. I've been on the hunt for an Octagon / Eagle for the longest time, but every time one comes up on r/mm or GB, I literally just got into another GB - in this case, the latest offerings from kin. One of these days though.... :))

but yeah that's basically it

we could see it again, but duck doesn't use the same fab most other people are using now and as far as i know isn't really looking to switch
