A Sit/Stand Desk for Work, My Back cannot wait.

There is always a break in period, your back wont get better immediately, but donīt give up, everything gets awesome after some days.

Yeah, Can't feel worse then it currently does. Sitting is more pain then standing, I think the biggest things will be how long i can actually stand for at a time early on

My 92G7461 is finished! What a change! This keyboard deserved a second chance.  Anyone else that would have bought this keyboard might have just thrown it out or saved it for spare parts.
I'm so glad I had Maxx fix it!

Words can't describe what it went through.
But pictures can!

This is worth checking out!

Spend the most time that you can endure standing
Get some nice shoes or sandals to make your standing time better
Birkenstock or this-> http://www.amazon.com/DAWGS-Working-Destination-PMW-White/dp/B002ABMEV0/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1431945150&sr=8-16&keywords=dawgs
I used to be a waiter some years ago (which i liked) and i was on my feet for 10+ hours, with those on, I got generally tired because of the demand of the job but i had no lower limb fatigue at all, those were my saviors since i discovered them till i quit the industry  :thumb:

I have not done the research into footwear, my aim was to use a yoga matt and take off my shoes.

as a girl with back problems (snowboard injuries) a pair of the ergonomic danskos (clogs used often by doctors and nurses)really changed my life at work! Also a temperpedic mattress also helped out quite a bit. I hope this helps cotton!!!

Congrats on the move to get healthier while computing.

I use both standing and sitting desks.

One pitfall I ran into was not wearing the proper shoes when standing at my desk. I was leaning and collapsing my arch which only made my back pain worse.

Also... make SURE you move around while standing; walk your feet up and down every 5-10 mins, change position a bit, etc. If you just stay hard planted in one area you will strain.
My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.

Magical Drop (Super Famicom)

Where do you shop for this stuff? Specific sites or ebay?

This stuff I scored from another forum (PCEngineFX). I check eBay, various forum, retro game stores, and thrift stores. If you fux with retro games, let me know bro. I would be happy to game chase with your wishlist in mind. Gonna start hitting garage sales this summer.

Hey CPT I finally dug around my house and found a tote full of old games. SNES, Sega CD, TG16, and a few others IIRC. The SNES was in there but I think the other consoles may still be at my folks' house. I'll have to try to get over there soon and look around in their basement.

I bought a 1987 IBM Model M SSK today, it is coming from Canada so I might be waiting longer than I usually do when I buy keyboards. I got rid of my old Model M because it took up too much space but now I have remedied my only issue with the buckling spring keyboards. :)

I found that the lighter ones feel fine, but once you go up into the heavy weights it digs into your palm and is pretty damn uncomfortable. Though my dad uses them all the time and seems to have no problem, guess it just depends on the user

General strength training is a good hand-strengthening workout. After all, you cant work out anything but your legs (and maybe your core) without using your hands.

So far it's really good - I'd actually say that getting the light model was a happy accident - I'm using it at work whenever I'm reading something rather than on the keyboard and can already feel a difference after a couple of days - my stock cherry mx clears are actually feeling a lot lighter and I don't want to turn them into ergo clears anymore :p

I'm currently waiting for all my PC parts to come in. I've already received my CPU (i7 4790K) & the aftermarket cooler for it (Noctua NH-D14), the GPU (EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0), motherboard (ASUS Z97-AR), HDD (Seagate Barracuda 2TB), SSD (Samsung 850 EVO 120 GB), optical drive (some cheap ASUS one), power supply (Corsair RM 650), monitor (Dell U2414H), case (Fractal Design Define R5 w/ Window in Black), as well as my new mouse (Zowie EC2-A).

Currently waiting for the backplate for the backplate for my GPU (EVGA pls why you no make this a factory standard), my RAM (Kingston HyperX Fury 16 GB 2x8GB DDR3-1600), my mousepad (Artisan Hien VE L Black), and don't forget the keyboard  ;), a CM Storm Quickfire Stealth in Browns from mechanicalkeyboards.com

Very excited to start building this system. I know I'm missing an OS but I can easily pick up Windows 8.1 from a local computer store for not much more than what I can get from an online retailer.

Poker 2 in white with mx reds. Was going to get a poker 3 but not impressed with my friends. The paint work is too easy to scratch. May get a CNC case but I actually like plastic and the white will look great with Miami keycaps.
