Ok so, I get on the train, and like 2 stops later this person who looks to be in his thirties, who looks really mentally ill (probably on drugs) very erradic movements gets on. Takes 2 stops to start to get into a screaming match with like two teenage girls (I think he was sexually harassing them). He gets kicked by one of them and they like intimidate him like try to get him to leave. At this point I've got off and left to another carriage cause I don't want to see any more of this or a potential violent altercation (also he was like shaking his arms near his pockets so I was not sure if he had a weapon or something). Like a stop later the guy gets on the carriage bleeding from the mouth they probably broke his nose and there is blood on his hoodie cause he got bashed by those girls.

The parts that bothers me the most though is that this happened just before the school day ended and that he went for seconds and obviously got his **** kicked in, like why are you pulling this **** in the middle of the day. It's so ridiculous that you thought you were gonna win that after you got intimidated by these girls too.

Doesn't help the stereotype of "interesting characters" that the line I was on have.
is this like the australia equivalent of the NYC metro

Capable of 320 x 200 resolution in four colours simultaneously, or 160 x 100 in a glorious 16 colours!

Back then the colours actually meant' something.

Nowadays, they advertise the 12bit colors, 4096 shades per channel, but in reality, we're barely breaking 10bit depending on luminance.

How much is the average person missing out by not calibrating their monitors/TVs?
a LOT. i remember i spent like 2 hours calibrating my living room tv to be perfect (or as close as it could get) and then like a month later i noticed that it looked awful. i asked my dad (color blind and also eyesight degradation) and he said "it looked weird so i changed it" i was like  :'(

i also noticed that Gran Turismo looked weird and i went to the PS5 hdr settings and they were completely default, this dude bought a 4k HDR tv and didn't even properly set up HDR on the PS5

covid it messed me up for so many weeks

I had it about half a year ago, and I am definitely not back to 100%, and am despairing that I never will.
i had a runny nose and a cough and i kept telling my parents that i didnt have covid but school protocol says u have to take a test so i finally did and the test turned BRIGHT OPAQUE RED like my body was 80% covid and somehow i only had mild cold symptoms. i just ate toast for the entire time i was sick but my taste came back when the covid went away and i havent had any issues since

Gosh darn bumble bees.  They keep knocking @ the window, just boop boop boop @ random intervals all day. I know they're critical to the ecosystem, but wth is up with the window booping.
dont think they're back out yet in my area but i love when they do come out lol they're adorable

the downside is that if bumblebees are out then the yellow jackets are probably out too and those little ****ers are the spawn of the devil
