I bought a keycool 84 with red switch, and many keycaps all from taobao. Got my billiards doubleshot keys from the mail today.

And I like how my taobao agent (bhiner.com) posts photos of it when the items reach them. :)

Got a limited edition race kb today.  I acquired it in a trade transaction.  White case, white keycaps, white leds, white PCB...looks damn sexy imo.

During the GH blackout, I waited for, and then received:  a Filco TKL with blue switches, the 15-key billiard ball set from i3oilermaker, and a white Superhero keycap from Boost.  Thanks iBoilermaker!  Thanks Boost!

Two days after receiving the Filco, I sold my WASD Keyboards full size with brown switches.  I really like the blues better, and I'll never go back to a full size board.

BTW, the Filco seems perfect to me.  After reading GH for so long, I was expecting it to sound like a wind chime at every keystroke, to wobble on the desk like a drunken sailor, and to be full of "defects".  Absolutely not true - I couldn't be happier.  Check that, I would be happier if it shipped with 87 Click Clack key caps.

Unless you don't like the look of it (which id on't T_T) you will not be disappointed. It's one of the sturdiest keyboards out there, and it's feels awesome. Grats on the purchase :)

Keep a microfiber cloth handy to clean the inevitable fingerprint and dust buildup. As long as you can accept the realities of the glossy finish you should enjoy your addition.

sherryman cases are really nice, but way out of my price range. Trebs is a good mix between sherryman and oneproducts (all nice cases, not putting anyone down)

For color I'm not sure yet. It's going to be really boring (flat black) or really bold (lime green) :D

Im actually kinda giggly since Im awating my CM Storm Quick Fire Rapid Red which I ordered yesterday.

And for us crappy ISO users this is the only keyboard thats TKL with red switches for us in a "reasonable price" now (Costs like $30 more for us in EU compared to US :P still is considered cheap here). The only other one is the Filco MJ2 Ninja TKL Mx Red and its almost the double price of the QFR ($190-$200, yes, no jokez).

Also I really dont mind the branding on the QFR, all I want is a TKL with Mx Reds. I cant be picky since Im not so spoiled by the many options that which you got with ANSI.  ;D

Though I might invest in getting PBT keycaps in the near future for it. Anyones know where I could get PBT keycaps for ISO with Costar stabilizers? Only think I can get in Sweden thats readily available is Ducky PBT keycaps. But those are for Cherry stabilizers....

You will enjoy the drastic difference in feel. I think reds are better for FPS players than other switches simply because they are the easiest to hold down...

Off topic: Had a bad dream about my Filco being a very used model so the browns felt like reds and it was dirty yuck xD, that's the subconcious for you...still better than those teeth pulling dreams.
