Got the 1087XM today, and I must say... what a steaming pile of ****.

Keycaps feel completely loose and rattle, the stabs are squeaky as hell, and every key pings like a bell. I'm glad this was only a $50 board.

However...

The feel of the switches is there. It's magical. I'm going to see what I can do to mod this board in to my dream tenkeyless black alps board. It's got potential, for sure.

That stinks. I've heard mixed reviews on that one, as I'm sure most have. Being an Alps fan though, I'd definitely be interested in whatever mods you throw at it. Where would you rate the switches in relation to other Alps types you've used?

You could basically make any keyboard with no badges on it look like that, just use blank keycaps.

Damn, Saw this in an airport a few days back, had to snap a picture. What switches are in there? The thought crossed my mind to rip those rgb mods off, not that I ever could or would. xD

I am going to check keyboards every time I am in an airport from now on. They will suddenly find their keyboards missing keycaps :)) .
