I am now waiting for two home row dark gray xhatched keys from wasd, plus two black keys with the "circle grid" engraved pattern for the row above and row below that I intend to put those on the hard-to-reach keys (Y and B) to help me learn to touch-type. I already got black xhatched keys for the F and J keys, but I have a second keyboard that also needs them and I wanted to see how the dark gray looks in comparison.

Also I've got some 5 cherry red switches, and 3 blues. I'm planning on using the reds for the arrow keys and the backspace key, and the blues for the caps lock and Esc key, and maybe like the F5 key.

And finally, I'm also ordering a Griffith Powermate since I miss the volume controls on my old saitek and have always wanted a volume knob on my desk.  :) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VWU2WA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

My future Das Ultimate S, all modded up. For now, it's a bit more black.

3x DESKO BMOL 5206 UP....

RGB heaven son.

Damn, Saw this in an airport a few days back, had to snap a picture. What switches are in there? The thought crossed my mind to rip those rgb mods off, not that I ever could or would. xD

Show Image

From now on just keep a Keycap Puller in your pocket everywhere you go, so in situations like that, you won't be caught off guard, lol  :))

Would a keycap puller even make it through airport security? o.o

The ones with the metal wiring anyway.

Speaking of MLP figures, I am seriously tempted to splurge on a Vinyl collectible Rainbow Dash figurine, but it's so damn expensive! 30 dollars down the drain

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice choice for a first mech - what switches does it have?

These were in the mail, courtesy of Bace:

Filco Linear-R 104 MX Red "Ninja" swapped. This thing is a tank. After being on my Choc Mini a lot recently, I see why (sub) TKL boards
are preferred over fullsize.

Plu-M87 MX Black, a neat little non-NKRO board, with a useful TKL Filco-sized case...

First time typing on a linear keyboard, just coming from a mix of MX Blues and Greens = whoaaaa (and typos)

Thanks dude!

Yeah I put it in my sig early before I forget.  I have experience with MX Red, Blue, and Brown.  I had a QuickFire Rapid, QuickFire Pro, and QuickFire TK, and I've sold them all.  The only reason I sold the Rapid was because I wanted a backlight.  The TK was a little bit lacking in terms of quality, and as for the Pro, I just don't want a fullsize (or only a partial backlight).
