Fellow geekhackers,
geekhack.org welcomes vendors to participate on the site (subject to
VToS) and offers the privilege of dedicated subforum sections to facilitate communication with customers as well as to make business-related announcements. The number of these subforums is limited to active vendors who regularly participate on the forum. The moderation team does pay attention to the
Vendor Feedback section as well as general vendor activity level of each vendor with a dedicated subforum, and we periodically review whether a particular vendor section is no longer sufficiently well-maintained. We give a generous grace period, as some of our vendors have very small (even one-person) business operations, and we understand that sometimes temporary downtime in activity and delays can happen.
The moderation team has noticed that the
GeekKeys section has been insufficiently maintained for a very long time (to the best of our knowledge, the vendor in question nor their authorized representatives have visited the site since March of 2018), and geekhack members find it difficult to contact GeekKeys on our site or get any timely updates from GeekKeys on geekhack.org.
Thus we are revoking the privilege of the dedicated advertising space for GeekKeys, and their subforum will be archived one month from the date of this announcement. At this time, the section has been made reply-only and creation of new threads has been disabled.
