My parents aren't divorced. This makes me very happy. My family is insanely close knit and I feel like most people can't say that anymore.

You're lucky.

My mom divorced my dad when I was six, and now, 14 years later, she's divorcing my stepdad.

Oh right, this is a happy thread.

The happiness of others makes me "less miserable", which is kinda like happiness... isn't it?
Go out and get yourself an ice cream!
You must be 'murrican.

On-topic, I'm quite happy that typing on my ghetto ergo keyboard is getting fluent, and I got a PVC ErgoDox in the mail today.
Well it does say I'm from the US in my profile haha

For me its finishing a program. Or even solving a really difficult problem. One of the most satisfying and fulfilling things I've felt in my life!

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

It makes me happy that we've decided to look for a house! It makes me a little sad that we have to wait until our current lease is up before purchasing.

The happiness will fade.....I am so sick of looking at houses and making offers and not being able to finalize a deal...

We're buying right now. We put in an offer on a dreamy little starter home, then went and got the inspection, put down the deposit, and finally were denied at the last second for financing based on our credit cards being a touch high. It was a harsh slap in the face.

Lukily, I only have a very small amount of credit card debt (less than 1k) and she has none. We both have student loans though, and we're waiting to see how that affects our ability to get a mortgage. Have an appointment at the bank next week to figure all that fun stuff out.

Doing something I'm good at that helps other people makes me happy.

Fishing makes me happy. And rowing on a calm lake.

And driving my modified classic Mini. Or riding my Moto Guzzi.

I wish I could say that typing on my custom keyboard makes me happy, but it just helps me get things done on my computer with less irritation. Must be that the switches haven't worn in yet and my GMK keycaps haven't arrived.   ;)

Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

All the carts at work are electric power. We have old time golf carts and newer ones like in paicrai's gif. The old ones are super torque-y so they're fun. The newer ones are a bit tame but I still think I could drift some. Let's try it out Hoffman!

I don't know if my cart can drift, never tried that.  It does turn *really* sharp though - no more sharp than any others though, I'm sure.  Found that one out by flying off the back when my sister was driving.  :|

For me, it's a good run, like when you keep going for 30+ minutes and the rest comes so naturally and easily. It's really helping guys, you should try it : 3

And water, I literally feel awsome with 1,5l bottle with me.
Not much to please me, i guess :p

Keyboard is just something cool to have, there are things more important if your goal is to be happy :)

God I hope to get there some day. I've been running gassers ever day trying to get my cardio up for the start of the football season and it's slow going! Quitting smoking will help though, only had four in the last 3 days so I'm nearly at the home stretch.

Go for it mate  :thumb: :3 Actually running everyday might be even worse for your cardio (and overall shape) than just doing this like 3-4 times a week :) It's an individual thing, but i got there with some days off :3

Peace out  :3

God I hope to get there some day. I've been running gassers ever day trying to get my cardio up for the start of the football season and it's slow going! Quitting smoking will help though, only had four in the last 3 days so I'm nearly at the home stretch.

Go for it mate  :thumb: :3 Actually running everyday might be even worse for your cardio (and overall shape) than just doing this like 3-4 times a week :) It's an individual thing, but i got there with some days off :3
For me, it's a good run, like when you keep going for 30+ minutes and the rest comes so naturally and easily. It's really helping guys, you should try it : 3

And water, I literally feel awsome with 1,5l bottle with me.
Not much to please me, i guess :p

Keyboard is just something cool to have, there are things more important if your goal is to be happy :)
Peace out  :3

Cheers man. Yeah I'm going to start going every second day this week so I have some recovery time :)
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Fort Worth, clicky keyswitches, the Oxford comma, and the smell of fresh lumber make me happy.
