1) Liar Game.
It's a story about a pure, innocent female protagonist and a cold, calculating protagonist trapped inside an insidious game - hence the title. The games revolve around screwing other people out of their money while playing various mind games. Losing during various stages of the game places the contestants in heavy debt and winning allows the contestants to achieve more money. We see many aspects of socioeconomic policies play out during the games as well many bat****, crazy people and let’s face it bat**** crazy sociopaths influence everything. Alliances quickly form and shift during the games. One of the recurring themes is that although the male protagonist is chief architect in engineering the strategy for victory during the games, the innocent female protagonist is the only character that is able to inspire trust from opposing contestants. Despite being easily used, she is the only character that is able to effectively reach across the aisle, force compromises to end stalemates.
As a sometimes cold hearted bastard myself, I find that very interesting because I’ve encountered similar situations during gridlock with opposing interests.

1) Solanin
Picking just one manga was hard, but this is a fantastic one. Solanin is a oneshot that follows the life of Meiko Inou. Her boyfriend (I can't remember his name of the top of my head) is a musician who is just trying to get his big break. While it seems kind of cliched, it is still great. It also has a killer song written for it by AKG (Link). I love Solanin and would reccomend it to anyone. It is a heart wrenching story about love, following your dreams and never giving up. Just give it a try, you won't regret it.

a. Recommended anime: Honey and Clover. Yes, it's a romantic comedy drama that's probably more for girls, but I really loved this show. Really great characters and story, some very funny jokes, and lots of catchy jpop songs that fit the scenes very well. One of my favorite animes. I've been wanting to read the manga someday.

My meme

My experiment (unsuccessful) with electrical tape modding. Tape falls off the LEDs all the time. Now I'm just trying to see how long the tape can survive.

If anyone wants to know,
Yellow electrical tape stays on the longest, blue the shortest.
Yellow is the thinnest, wrapping around the LED most easily. Blue the thickest and heaviest. So a keyboard that actually started out over half blue (because I only had blue tape at first) has gotten most of the blues replaced with other colors as the blues fell off the LEDs.
