Ok, Zfrontier came in clutch we have Quotes pricing coming soon, but do to getting it so late might push GB back a couple days like 1 or 2 days once I have official pricing!

As of now, I have been unable to reach Zfrontier, which has been an issue for a minute (its the reason it took 6 months to update the IC) with that being said
 I have sent them the stuff needed for quotes, and they are known for coming in clutch last minute.
Incase, this is not one of those times I have already talked it out with my vendors, and they are all flexible to the possibility.
I will make sure I update here as soon as I hear something back. Since it is the Holidays as well HAPPY Holidays!!!

06/06/2020: Hi quick update to fill you guys in. I have updated the colors but need to redo all the renders. That will be improvements from the last and will look amazing. All the colors are now color matched to Pantones and the production file v1 is almost done. Once I finish this I will do a major update with things like deskmats, Kittings, colors, and other goodies also hopefully I will have a sample of the novelty spacebar I bet many of you are excited about. Sorry for the radio silence for so long.

10/12/2020 BIG UPDATE, here is the test spacebar samples (photos of it at least)

Note: When I ask for the spacebar 4 months ago, I was still refining my colors (I still am, just waiting to have the samples in hand) so that is why the space bar is Dark blue the point was too show that they could do a Nice reverse dye-sub. These photos are from Keyreative and ZFrontier. When doing the testing the original (thin lines on the right) they notice the colors didn't shows that well, so to bring out the color more they thickened the line width, but this also caused an issue to where not everything lines up but on the final version I will correct that. I am still waiting as they didn't ship yet due to past Chinese Holiday which just ended, so I am expecting to start getting stuff soon. After that I will update my renders, and release the official kitting( I do understand it seems kind of backwards to not have the kitting out when I originally decided to do it this way I was under the expectations the samples would only take a month so it would been fine. Other things also popped up IRL, and with that said I have not forgotten or given up on this set I am even more excited than I was before.)

10/29/2020: ANOTHER BIG UPDATE

I have decided to use my Pantones as my basis for color, since the samples are taking so long and if any changes happen I will make sure to communicate that clearly as it happens. I would like to apologize for the lack of updating and the lack of being involved. I am truly excited for this set and I really can't wait to share it with you both kitting and updated renders will be posted by next Friday I hope.

I've noticed you guys and gals arent a fan of the spinable key caps but I don't think you know what it is exactly it is a key caps that will have a ball inset in it and then a rod put through the middle. Since Rama doesn't do KAM it would be my version of a Rama

Solidify the theme.  These colors don’t say 80s to me. It looks like a key set with a photo filter applied.  Maybe “burnt in crt” or “overexposure”, “vhs machine ate my tape”?

Pardon my enthusiasm - on keycapcalendar, this is the only upcoming offer I'm excited about. I want it.

I vote for (as seen in other kits):
- Blank Ergo modifier addon kit (or novelty art modifiers, one can dream)
- 6 unique 1.25u's in novelty kit (for Redux I buy 2 kits for the needed 10x1.25u).

Novelty keys are more useful for variable layouts than modifiers with legends imo (followed closely by blanks...). Printed legends suitability is so niche on some sizes, it would be helpful to leverage that flexibility!

As the novelty kit is now, good symmetry cannot by achieved on a Redox without weird redundancy. The "Play," video camera, cell phone, and "Eject" art would be really useful as 1.25u too. Others have 6, why not this novelty kit? Thank you, I want.

I can definitely make that happen although the kit does have physical coverage for two boards since it is a uniform profile.

It may have already been suggested but, I don't like the size of the font on the alphas, they are too large compared to the MODS.  The colourway is excellent but the large font makes it look slightly comic in my opinion.

Hi,

      This has been a concern of some, but this was a design choice that I made because I wanted to to feel older. I have reduced the alpha size by a lot and upped the mods quite a bit as well. Another factor is  all the mod legends are based on a 1u key and because of that the mods have to be smaller. I hope this helps you understand the decision, although at this point I won't be making any more changes to the size since everything else is based of these sizes.

1. some kit render the nav Icons didn't match the text nav clusters, also the 40s had a little artifact issue due to 4 caps being on top of one another. It should all be fixed now.
2. I also made a simple kitting guide for those possibly confused by the kitting ( which is more than none)

I would like to make this clear since some people are confused about this, all the kits cover what's in the photo meaning Phat Mods covers 60-65(tsangan and standard bottom row included and some extra keys). While the 60-65% mods cover only what's in the photos and would need a bottom row to cover a whole board and nav cluster for a 65%. The second route is intended to be a cheaper option for those who know what board they will be putting it on, if you have any uncertainty then just get Phat Mods. With this being said I would also like to go over another thing I see people seem confused about the spacebars being in the Alphas instead of the mods the reason for this is, I have three alpha colorways and I would be forced to sacrifice some color variation in order to save cost on the mods kit, if I didn't have three different color alphas I would have put the spacebars in mods like normal.

I am rather new to MK but I really like this set and think about getting one for my Keychron K8 (TKL format). I'd go for the Alphas, Fn Row, Modifiers and the Norde layout, which should work?
 
I have seen this on other layouts as well, but what I am not seeing is the 3rd set of functions on some of the keys in the Norde layout. For example { is bound on the 7 key or the tilde sign between Enter and Ü in R3 when you press it with Alt GR, which is right to the spacebar.

I included a picture of what is printed typically/on standard keyboards (from the Keychron this case, but also ducky has the same prints on its 60% DUCKY ONE 2 Iso DE or cherry pbt international set from KPrepublic).
Is this standard for keycap sets to exlucde this (The KAT rust has the same layout as here) in order to not have too many keys or another reason?

Welcome to GH. Your question is legit, and its answer is that this set does not have tertiary legends—the ones you are missing—that for US ANSI do not apply, but for European layouts do. I prefer to have tertiary legends, but I can see the simplicity of the lack of them. Anyway, we already know where the AltGr legends are, hopefully. If you really need them, you may check other KAM sets in "interest-checks" that offers a Norde set with tertiary legends. Feel free to PM–me if you want to discuss this further.

I am using these keys very often - which is a pain already since you the AltGr position is not very convenient, but not having Ä,Ü,Ö is even less an option. I am familiar with their position, but was curious about the reasoning of it (also bc. some minors like the € sign on the E button or the µ sign on the M are not included, but I suppose that goes beyong the contraints)

I checked like the last half a year in the section and could only find the Napolenic kit with tertiary legends, otherwise the design choice seems more or less unilateral. Issue is, I wont be the sole user of the KB and some missing legends could be confusing, but my personal boss in the house will have to adapt I suppose

The ä, ö and ü are included in the norde+++ sets. Yet, there are other sets with full tertiary legends and broader coverage than this one. What language layout do you use?

I am using ISO-DE layout, but I was not very clear. In that a change to ANSI would be nicer for programming for example (and keycaps obviously), but I have to stick to ISO DE and most of the customs seem to offer the same coverage as this one, which is not perfect but good enough.

It is true if you are after a KAM set. But, there are a couple other ICs for non-KAM sets that carry full support for ISO-DE. Again, I think that this set rocks.
