Considering that Cherry switches are rated for 50M keypresses, I think this is the McRip effect if anything.

I believe "ghetto" greens are made using black springs with blue stems.  With that logic, the info on the OP says he thinks 75g springs are closest to current mx blacks.

stock greens are 80g cherry which translates to roughly 100g korean

Thats what I thought too, but I can definitely notice a difference in my WASD keys vs the other lesser used keys (like Pause and keys like that). Who knows, maybe it's just in my head too lol. Either way it'll be nice to have heavier springs :3

Does anyone know how the springs in stock clear compare to stock green? I got some green and clear switches to experiment with, but was a bit confused looking at the deskthority wiki for them. The green is listed as having an actuation force of 80cn, and the clear is listed as 65cn. Looking at the springs compared on this post though mx black (deskthority wiki lists as used in ghetto green) is listed as 75g, while clear is listed as 85g.

I'm mainly curious because I was surprised by just how nice the green felt with a clear spring in it, but I don't really know how much of a difference there is. I gave a stock green, green w/ clear spring, and stock clear to two friends and asked them to choose their favorite. One is into keyboards, and the other is not. Both of them chose the modded green over the two stocks. I'm starting to think I may want to get some blue switches and put in springs similar to mx clears.

You can still place an order for R2. Both regular and gold plated springs are available in 62g and 65g weights. Sampler kit will ship with your spring orders, and the GB / (proxy ship) would be closed by then so no extra individual direct shipments would be made from this GB.
