Colors used for this set are RAL Colors : RAL 6038(legends and accents), RAL 5020 (alphas) , RAL 5008(modifiers), NOTE that RAL colors can be adjusted to match the set perfectly ! (like bento did for exemple) :thumb:
I thought it was irrelevant to communicate them since they will be changed and optimized for the set but here you go.

I was honestly more curious as to the other deep shades of green that would be used in the alphas and mods. That's kind of a difficult color to nail without going over or under on the contrast like what happened with Solarized Dark or Necro.

Yeah, your GB pages (Bento, this one etc.) are looking pretty great :thumb: Pricing is fine, I was referring to e.g. Metropolis novelties being 40% more expensive in EU than USA which is what turned me away from buying that kit.

I tried searching most of the IC/GB for "color" but couldn't find mention of the GMK color codes for this set. Do we know what they are? In particular, I'm wondering if the mod color is N9.
Pretty sure they're all custom colors. The mods look darker than the grey of N9.

Boycott. Plain and simple. If they aren't answering emails and/or fulfilling GBs we don't need to use them. Why would we put up with that kind of abuse when there are so many better options?

I don't think anyone would've batted an eye if he didn't make a big deal out of it. Trying to censor discussion just ends up creating more problems, and just ends up making the person look guilty. Instead of having one throwaway post referencing the controversy, there's now a whole comment chain because of otanishock's post. For someone with a vested interested in the buy, that certainly seems counter-productive.

Yes, of course the alphas fit. The problem with ortholinear keyboards like preonic or planck and keysets like this is never the alphas. The problem is always the modifiers. You need to buy a set of novelties if you want to put this set on a preonic. I fit this set to my planck recently:

Apart from these kits, I also managed to collab with people to make some nice add-ons to this set. (NOT AVALIABLE ANYMORE)
Note that only people who will join the GB will have access to the raffles ! Everything you need to know about the artisan raffles including the links to enter them will be on each product page of each proxy !
Those are the current, relevant portions of the OP - a simple "day 1 only" mention is all it would have taken.
I remember reading that _on_ Day 1 and specifically thinking it would be similar to Taro (and probably several other sets) where the raffles would happen at the end of the GB for anyone who participated.
Honestly, I wasn't at all interested in those artisans, so it didn't hurt me to have missed them when I joined a few days after the GB started, but had I been interested, I would have been pretty pissed that Enjoy never so much as mentioned they were Day 1 only.

We sold a lot of kits more than I could ever thought and this was really nice to interract with the community through this adventure, especially offering as many things as possible (AKA a lot of artisans ahah)
Now I just want to express myself about this adventure.
We all know that I, and this set went through so much, especially with some dramas, changing vendors, kits etc, and not gonna lie, I had quite a rough time. I probably didn't make the best decisions, like some of you told me (either in a bad or positive way) but I still tried to do my best and give as much love as I could to this set and the people that still supported me, and I sincerly thank you guys a lot, each remarks, each comment was taken under consideration and made me progress to I think, achieve a really nice project that I'm very proud off.
I really enjoyed doing that groubuy and, to be honnest I never thought I could do something like that. I also didn't think that so many people could trust me and support me as much as you guys did, this was way more than a "group buy for me" and without all of you, that wonderfull set wouldnt be possible.
I'm getting a bit emotional writting this message, the grammar is probably terrible etc, but these words come directly from my heart, so yeah, thank you guys, I sincerly thank you from the bottom of my heart.
So many of you wanted a deskmat ? I guess it's now done, you can thank Biip for that :thumb:

For samples, I accepted the ones from the modifiers but I rejected the other ones since they werent that close to what I wanted and I asked for a second batch, and many others if needed to achieve what I want.
I wanted to wait the second batch to compare them, but you guys are impatient as I can see.

Unfortunately, deskmats weight about 35oz. These aren't cheap quality deskmats, and are quite heavy. Because of this, the shipping is expensive. USPS priority is the cheapest, because First Class only offers services for packages < 1lb.
The deskmat will arrive at a different time than the keyset, so it won't ship together.
I know it's not a great experience - I am going to work to see if I can do anything to make this better in the future. But for now, this is the only option.

So photos and monitors make it difficult to tease out... but the original renders make the alphas feel like they're in the green family, and these samples look more like they're in a blue family?Agree fully with this. The darker green colour of the renders is what I prefer, and that seems closer to the first samples.
Oh dang, didn't realize the first samples were different than the second. That is a nice green. I kind of understand the lighter choice in green, since it appears more vibrant.

I'm happy with the new green, it is really excellent, and what was I assumed to be the most challenging color to match. Now I'm seeing that the non-text part of the alphas will be most difficult. There has to be a happy medium between the light and dark-colored alphas.

Note that asap ill provide a better pic of the actual samples, i understand that the alpha color is very tricky, especially that even on the renders it’s not the same depending of the angle, light etc, but I can promise you that I won’t let you down and that the colors will be on point, we’re already pretty close :)

I think the latest round of samples were placed before Enjoy went on vacation. Yes, GMK can take a while to send out samples. Just look at GMK DMG for example.

I've seen glow in the dark before. Is it not possible to have different shades of glow-in-the-dark green? Either the render or the lighting in the picture of the sample is off, because those greens look really different from each other. To me, the render really didn't look like a good match to the keyset, and the specific shade of green in the keyset is really important to match. The sample looks a bit closer.

Making this post because some asian custommers got a problem concerning their wavez Esc (green) key legend alignement with the C. The C isnt allign properly for them, making it look MEH, especially for a product like that.
I personnally opened 3 sets, and don’t have a single problem with that key.

This makes me wonder how GMK molds even work. I understand in oblivion they were brand new molds and just got created incorrectly. But for something like the escape key I thought that mold already exists and has for a long time. Unless they continually go bad and wear out and need remade? Or the plastics shift as they cool or something???? Is this a normal part of GMK manufacturing that just normally would get caught and fixed in QC but now with the glut of GMK sets and pressure to ship is GMK QC slipping?

To be honest, GMK has one of the best QC out there and do their utmost best to correct any issues that they find. I expect great things from GMK but a slip like this doesn’t surprise me with the amount of work that has been piled upon them as of late. This is a very uncommon occurrence that you find with GMK do I wouldn’t be very upset about this if I were anyone. Of course GMK will be correcting this like the GB runner has already stated and I’m sure they’ll be reviewing their molds after the recent events.

We have not yet received the sets from GMK at CannonKeys. They have shipped and are on their way
So they are either on a boat or in customs since it's been 10 days since they shipped. Trying to determine if this will be here in time for a Christmas present but it doesn't sound likely.

It's a beautiful set -- the punchy green legends on the dark, subtle greens has an unexpected organic look to it that I love. This nicely fills a gap for audio junkies like me. Thank you for sharing it with everyone and I look forward to your next venture.

The keebwerk Bento just arrived a couple weeks ago, which was at least a month after GMK Bento arrived. You might have a bit longer.

I managed to get the updated Esc key by chasing up CandyKeys. The updated key came through maybe a week or two back.I'm still waiting on mine.
Edit: For anyone wondering, I ended up receiving the keycap.

Failing that the next best solution is both the 2.75u Space and the 2.25u Space from that kit.
Failing that I can cobble a solution with just the 2.75u Shift key from the set.
I appreciate that is a lot to ask but I thought I would reach out. The kit is perfect with the Teal Virgo and I really want to finish the board. Thank you for looking, all help appreciated.

The finished board, feels even better than it looks.
It will take a while to get used to the unique layout, the distances to keys is somewhat different to 'Alice' layouts but with that said, having TKL in an erog layout is great for a daily working board. Huge thank you to Flex for all of his help throughout, you designed a masterpiece with the Virgo.
