Hello everyone!
I'm currently in an Independent Study class for 3D printing and design. I get to do whatever I want, so I decided to make a 60% mechanical keyboard, and I have some questions.
What are the exact dimensions of a 60% mechanical keyboard?
What are some good websites to find keycaps, switches , etc.?
Are there any good guides that deal with this?
I don't have a budget, but since I don't have to worry about a case, faceplate, or anything to do with an outer shell, that opens up my budget considerably.
General advice for making my own is appreciated, so thank you in advance!

Yes, google helps a lot.
To google only Geekhack use:
handwiring site:geekhack.org
That will give you quite a sense of what it takes to make a keyboard.
Likewise:
60% size site:geekhack.org
will give you some sizing info.
There's 10,000's of hours of reading on geekhack available on your future!
You'll likely gets lots more assistance if you show that you've already done research and there's "just this one little thing" that's still unclear to you.

How do you not know about Thingiverse if the class is based around 3d printing or if you have even done any 3D printing?
That site has ready to print 3D keyboards.
