GODDAMMIT NOW I'M ON THE ANTICIPATING END
Glad to hear your artwork made the transit without any issues!
I will say that the lack of a dominating color (other than I guess red, technically, due to the "MX") in the print made selecting a matte quite difficult. So I went with something a little more "out there". Hopefully it turns out alright.
And of course, thanks again for all your work on this! It really is a beautiful print. And I had a fun time explaining what MX switches are to the framers. )
Edit: Apparently it's spelled mat. TIL
pictures please! I didn't know there was such a thing as a frame shop.. I was just gonna go to ikea or something to pick out the closest fitting frame
Frame shops are always very expensive compared to buying a stock frame from IKEA or a similar store, so be prepared for that if you decide to look into it. I've only had one other item framed, and I'm kind of reserving it for the more special prints I have.
But I'd definitely recommend at least stopping by a frame shop! In my experience they are super helpful and will work with you to design something that looks good. I haven't quite developed the best eye for this stuff yet, so matching colors and frames is rather daunting.
Of course, all that said, a stock frame is still great! In the end you may not feel that the added cost of a custom frame is worth it.
Oh and there will definitely be pictures!
