Hey, UsualSuspectXXX, I finally got Honeywell for my Das 4...  not quite my endgame, but it looks 100x better than the previous Tai-Hao set. Any chance you’d have time to pixel the new look (and remember the shading)? ;)

Thanks. Looking at it now, I should have put it on the one with the Jelly Keys... Maybe I'll update it later.

Just basic, I would have done the coloring myself when the keeb is done. Just didn't wanted to start from scratch.

I'll attache a template I made a while back with several common sizes, the 65% should be close enough that you can edit the key layout easily with some cut/past in MSPaint and color it however you want.

I'll see if I can somehow make it look like it has rounded corners and rainbow-y backlighting, and maybe attempt the underlighting too

I've skimmed through almost half the thread from the beginning, through the loss of the attachments way-back-when, then switched to careful use of Google, and there are a couple that I'm having trouble finding.

One that's kind of specific...a Unicomp-manufactured, IBM-branded white M13 (logo grouped with the LEDs instead of in the oval spot). Bit of an oddball. Unicomp said they don't think they even made it, but I believe otherwise. Reference photo.

These, I know existed but I don't think any good links to them exist anymore (or my Google-fu is off):
XT Model F
IBM M5-1, reference photo can be found here (mine is dirty and in pieces, so not a good photo candidate)
122-key Model F

And then one that I'm pretty sure nobody made (maybe): 4704 50-key, reference photo. Could probably start with the 62, 77 or 107 if those exist.

Any guidance towards finding those, or someone willing to make/remake them would be much appreciated :)

I can make the 50 key one later today (unless someone gets to it before me of course).

That'd be awesome, thanks.

As for the white M13:
There is an existing one, I think I found this was made way way back (2011 maybe), http://i.imgur.com/FOAYE.png
It would only need a couple tweaks to make it match the one I have, https://i.imgur.com/RQm975M.jpg

I think the bezel in front of the pointing stick buttons is shown too big, also.

Made them up fairly quickly. The XT key shading looks a bit off and the F122 could use a couple tweaks that I can't quite think of at the moment.
Feel free to edit, copy and re-host the images however you wish.

Excellent, thanks! Agree the shading is a little off but overall looks very good. Beggars can't really be choosers.

In the meantime...stumbled upon this, in this thread, which I apparently missed the first time through:

Didn't have time to go through the whole thread to see if it was here, but I made a Model M 122 key version. Awesome thread!
(Attachment Link)

Couldn't quite figure out how to make the top two rows look as though they were on an angled plane, as in the actual keyboard....

There are things about his, and things about yours, that are both better/worse in some ways. For example his numpad shading is more accurate but your F-key shading is more accurate (even on a large-case M, they're all dark). Your IBM logo looks more true, as does the raised section for the F-keys. It might just be my eyes but both also look to be too skinny on the bezel at left and right, but I'd have to start counting pixels for that, and I don't feel that motivated (yet).

Going to try my hand at tweaking the white M13 into the one I have, since the hard part is done already.

Oops! I entirely forgot about the numpad shading! And also turns out I was using an ANSI modded F122 as reference, so I've got a single piece numpad+ instead of two single keys. I'll fix those issues tonight and see if I can't make the XT more visually appealing/correct.

How do we feel about this (attached)? Reference pic again.

Took the logo out of the oval spot, put it with the lock LEDs. Made the backspace a light-coloured key.

Also took out what looked to be an unnecessary extra row of pixels at the bottom, then made the same change to the existing original black one. Although there is a gap between the buttons and the edge of the case, it isn't 1px worth of space at this scale and was making the M13s (both black and beige) taller than the regular M.

Neither of these were made by me, just tweaked a bit.

Unmodified original

My tweaked ones:

One edit I've made to all my Buckling Spring pixel arts is that the typing section is 1 pixel wider on the right side. Split the backspace key into two pieces and see that it's not properly represented as a 2x key. This also leads to ISO enter keys being noticeably too skinny. You'll need to extend the spacebar by 1 pixel as well to fit the edit.

Fixed the F122's numpad coloring and split the key up, plus gave it two variations.

Corrected the shadow coloring on the qwerty row for the previous boards as it was too light compared to the others (this seems to be a common issue with all of the IBM pixel arts since they all use the same base). Did not fix the slightly awkward shading on the XT, though.

Tweaked yours to have a 1 pixel wider backspace, etc. Plus fix the shading issue also present in your Pebble/Pearl pixel art. Both of yours had a missing shadow on the |\ key as well so I also added that.

Transparent background version of Matias Quiet Pro (posted earlier by Binge):

Changed the XT and AT model F up a bit, and added the raised bump over the top row of keys:
