Isn't 45 USD for 90 MX switches really cheap? I'm relatively new to the scene but that seems very cheap, don't they usually go for 1.25-2 USD per switch? :)

Unless you are looking for uncommon switches like whites, they are usually less than that.

Sprit's price of $45 for 90 switches is a good deal, similar to MK's listing of clears.

What benefits does the 4mm plate vrs the 2mm plate have? And what are the difference between the poly acrylic and acrylic plates? Sorry im new to this. I want to make one of these :D
Also does this come with the LEDs or do we have to buy the LEDs separately? reread the original post

4mm plates sounds really thick.  Is anyone getting those as well?  What's the difference between PolyAcry and PolyCarb?  I know they are different materials, but has anyone used both?

Edit: Ordered!

The Maximum thickness for MX is 5mm.    In this GB,

1. Acryl Plate : 5mm (5T) thick :  In My Opinion :  Strong and Soft, Rigid enough ...
2. PolyCarbon : 1.6mm thick :  In My Opinion : quite Strong and flexible, ...

3. Alu Metal  :  1.6mm thick :  In My Opinion : Noisy, Not Strong enough, we know its pros and cons.
4. Alu Metal  :   4mm + 1mm PolyAcryl  : In My Opinion :   Armour itself.

Sprit, I have a question about the plates.  In some of the previous comments you have mentioned that the plates are 'like the phantom', which I understood to include cutouts so the switch tops can be removed.

None of the plates I have seen you link images to have cutouts for the switches to be removed.  I would like to verify that the plates have cutouts so the switch tops can be removed without having to desolder from the PCB.

Thanks...

I have a question Sprit. How does a multi colour LED fit in a MX switch? Or does it go somewhere else?

Same as Normal LEDs.

What plate is this?  It is like a 75% but with an extra row of 1x1 keys on the left.  And it doesn't have cutouts.  :(

I thought multi LEDs have 4 legs? A cherry MX switch only has 2 cutout holes...Did someone invent a 2 leg multi-LED?

The order form is missing a line in the address for the building name.

Should I just write it into the street line?

Any way you can split the cherry mx switches to 45 qty? I only need a few reds for modifiers and clear for the rest :(

Also, are cherry mx switches plate mount or pcb mount?

Thanks for organizing this :D
