Sprit, so will my PCB's have diodes pre-soldered or no. Think you can still make end of January deadline if I ask you to solder them? ( I pre-ordered quite a while ago, back when 1st batch deadline ended as you know! )

Again thank you for the hardwork.

Invoice paid for stabs + shipping as well!

My poor eyes don't allow me to do that kind of work and i've asked you more that 1 time if all will come presoldered.
So please answer clearly if my stuff will come all presoldered.
If not i'm ok even to pay a fee for having all assembled but please don't ship something i can't use.
If i have to buy also switches i'll do that.

Wow, I just want to commend sprit on how nice he is, I don't see that much.

Now. you said the 2nd GB PCBs were presoldered right?( with everything except switch/LED I assume)
When is that? Like If I were to send in my google docs order today, would that be 1st GB or 2nd GB?

Also how do we choose between ANIS and ISO? Or does the firmware/keymapping/software take care of that?

Invoice Paid. But I noticed that there were no stabilizers on the order. Should I expect them in the 2nd round? I PM'd you and submitted my order for them a bit late...

Also, this question seems to be glanced over a lot...

Question about the 60% firmware.
Does the caps lock LED change colour when I activate it? Assuming I use a multi colour LED.

I really appreciate the work and dedication you are putting into this Sprit. If I had known there are SMD parts to be soldered I would have stayed clear of the GB -- I don't have the tools and the eyesight to do this anymore. I would appreciate it very much if you would put the parts on. Thanks !

If Sprit can't do your board I can as long as you don't mind it going to be California for a bit before heading to its home in the pacific northwest. I'm no super pro but I enjoyed the SMD that I've done.

I'm a little confused. Being part of the first GB, will the 60% PCB I'll be getting require no soldering outside of the switches? Is sprit soldering all the SMDs and diodes? If so, a big  :thumb: for sprit!

Hi Sprit,

On the invoice it's mentions only pcb mount stabilizers because of moq. Will these work at all with a plate? Otherwise i will probably have to wait for gb2 to get the stabilizers sourced for my build.

would like to confirm before i pay the invoice, or i will need it changed, with he possibility of my things being held and all sent together if there is not issues.

AS You know, I was going to apply the Plate Mount Type Stabilizers on Metal Plates.

The Stabilizer Order for Plate Mount was under 60 sets.  The Factory MOQ for the plate type MOQ was 1,000sets.

I was expecting to buy at least 500sets from the factory. But had to give up.

So, I've changed Metal Plate Design to PCB mount type, and Asking People's Decisions.

For the 2nd GB,  I am going to order the Plate Mount Type at all, even with my money.

Hi Sprit, received your invoice just now, thanks! But there is a problem with the new invoice #1443. #1443 contains items that I already paid for, in invoice #1273.
The correct item I have to pay under #1443 should be the stabilizers 2 sets $16, shipping $30, Group buy fee $3. Total is $49

For your easier checking, the invoices I received so far are 1225 (paid), 1273 (paid) and 1443 (not paid because of the problem)
Please send me a new invoice. Thank you again for organizing.

wow,
looking forward to seeing how these pcb-mounted cherry stabs are going to get a hold in a 4mm metal plate. If I remember correctly the distance between those clips going through the pcb and the actual bottom of the stab is far less than 4mm. I wonder if you had to drill those plates from the bottom... really interesting.
Anyways just paid the latest invoice... and don't bother with the soldering Sprit, looking forward to doing this myself.
And thanks again for this amazing GB.

Hello !  Elias Camber !! :)
Really Sorry for the Plate-mount Stab.  I am so frustrated not get them for the 1st GB.  :(

As You know, My PCBs are for Both PCB- and Plate- Mount SWs and Stabilizers.
So, Metal Plate + PCB mount Stabilizer is No Problem.   It's CNC Machiened.  :)
All Korean Customs are Plate + PCB mount Stabilizers Now. But I want to try a diffenet way.

Only for the Metal Plates, Stabilizers are changed to PCB mount Type.
The Acryl 5mm Plate are for the PCB mount Stabilizers From the begining.  :)
I posted the Pic in the IC before.

Don't worry, I don't have any problems with pcb-mounted Stabs.
I have a question for you:
I remember you talking about hardness of plates for your fingers and I find this to be true.
I really like the feel on the normal G80s giving in a little bit to the force an even dampening the sound a little bit.
If I was looking for this kind of feeling, would you advise me to get one of your acrylic plates, like 2mm?

Thanks!  Elias!

If You like the Cherry Original G80 Keyboards (No Plates), My personal Opinion is : No Plate.
Because Our 1st GB PCBs are 1.6mm Thick, I feel They are Just a little bit stronger and a little bit less sound.
I Really like keyboards without Plate Too!
