Hey Sprit,
Just got your shipping invoice and paid it (#1490)! In it, you had a note saying "what pcb?" with each of my acrylic cases.. the answer to that is none. I only ordered the 2 cases, no PCBs :)

Thanks for everything!

He said he's trying to get everything out by end of Jan. But if you want pre-soldered diodes, that might not be possible. Apparently Sprit is still waiting for the final batch of springs :)

What is the difference between the two? Is there any difference in the feel or functionality?

That is okay, hopefully they are done soon though :)

Quite impressive how you were able to get 100g and 120g springs produced at such numbers. People on geekhack tried to get springs like this before through the supplier originativeco uses and the MOQ for springs that were over 100g was 50,000.

Is there a difference in feel between the two? Stainless looks shiny while Cherry original has a dull, typical tin look to it :p

I think Stainless steel stabilizers would feel smoother due to the slippier and shinier material regardless of lube. Am I wrong to assume so?

I suspect there will be no difference in feel. As such, I prefer typeB 'cause it looks cooler. Still, I don't think I ordered any, so I'll just use the ones I have here.

And regarding stabilizer bars, i didn't notice the difference in spacebar bar design while viewing the thread on my phone. What's the extra indent on the Cherry spacebar stabilizers for? Or is that how 7x units look?

One has an upward curve kind of some tension break, both work fine, just aesthetics straight vs a more refined version

Hey Sprit or anyone who knows the answer,

How does one go about setting up the layout of the board? I know firmware is pre-installed, but do I need to download something else to alter the layout? Assuming I don't mess up the diodes, I'd like to do a 1+1 backspace and 1.75+1 shift.

Also, any tips for soldering diodes?  :p My soldering experiencing is limited to through hole LEDs and switches. Through hole diodes would work with this board, right?

just go through the form and since you are looking for tenkeyless board, it would be 87% pcb with 87% plate and casing,,,
but if you are really new about it, I would suggest you to do more researches before making decision :D

anyways sprit, shipped any?  ;)

Yes, hence why there are delays. If you wish to get them quicker, you can request to just get a bag of the SMD diodes to solder yourself.

Hey Sprit. I just wanted to check that the PCB is compatible with matis switches and their led placement. Are the leds compatible (as in will they fit) with the switches as well? Also how much is the metal case?

It's not compatible with matias switches, you'll have to wait for the ALPS PCB group buy.

I just put in my order for one 60% PCB! My payment might be slightly delayed because this goes over my current spending limit.
