Hey, looking to place an order for a board if I'm not too late. Are the cherry stabs and springs ever going to be back in stock? If not, if I place an order will the board just not have any stabs?

Hi guys! Is it a good idea to match a Sprit Model 1 case (87 %) with the inner parts of my Filco Majestouch 2 TKL? I mean, does everything fit perfectly together, particularly the USB cable?

Thanks blighty. But doesn’t it say "Topic: SPRIT Model 1 Case : Poker 60% 75% 87% 110% + Ducky, Filco, Leopold  (Read 14759 times) "? So I misunderstood that it is compatible with my Filco?

Maybe? But We haven't seen anything outside of the 60% stuff.  I'd wait until things have been officially announced/pics shown.  There's supposed to be alps compatibility at some point too.  sprit's a busy guy, so who knows when all the aspects of this buy will see light...

Alright. What most amazes me are the possible LED effects. There is this one video of SPRIT where he’s typing in the dark, and on each stroke all LEDs flash up yellow. Forgot where it was, does someone have the link?

Is it just me or does it look like you can make a "true-er" hhkb layout with this 6x spacebar support?

I just thought this is too personal, trivial to mention.   But this GH version support 6x WKL  from the begining.

I don't think sprit is doing assembly apart from the SMD work

Whoops im wrong. Only unassembled as been shipped so far, so I wasn't aware of full assembly

full assembly is $45, so just add that onto the price of the parts you want

Kind of similar, but looks a lot cooler IMO because its on the underside and the acrylic does a nice job of dispersing the lot.

Yeah. How do I add that to my order of assembly?

EDIT: I hate to be a pest, but I told myself I would get at least one custom board and the acrylic one was on the top of my list from images I saw the first time I came to GH. If anyone out there has a few minutes where they could assist me with filling out a GB form (I don't know what some of the stuff is), I would really appreciate it.

I really don't mean to be annoying, but someone walking me through it would also help me understand some of the items for future reference.

Actually, I have it mostly figured out.

Just two quick questions, what does "*Auto Multi- 7 Color LED 20pcs = 10USD" mean for the LED options?

I also noticed Clear switches are not listed as an option. Clear switches are available on one of the vendor site. If I supply them and have them shipped to you, can you assemble the board with them?

Thanks for getting back to me man. Yeah, I am filling out the 2nd order sheet.

Since you have clears I will put that in the switch option. As for the multi-color LED, do I choose what keys the multi color LEDs will go on? Or is that for the full board? Also, will I have the ability to change the color via keyboard or software?

One last question. I would like this affect as a programmable option:
feature=player_embedded

Does this just happen when choosing transparent as the bottom piece of the Acrylic case?

That effect is independent of what material the case is made of. You could have an aluminum case if you wanted but still have that effect (although that would be pretty pointless).

Right, that's what I meant that the clear will allow it to show. Does that mean all LED boards will have this affect as a programmable option? If so, that would be awesome. I am imagining he is programming different lighting functions into the board like Ducky does?

The only thing that kind of still confuses me is the multi LEDs. It says 20 pieces. Does that mean I choose which keys can change colors or can I just make it the entire board (but every 20 pieces are $10 as opposed to 110 pieces at $10)

The multi leds are really expensive, which is why 20 is $10

Multi LEDs are LEDs that cycle through colors. You cannot control them.

Also, not all LED keyboards can lightup like that. You need to have the right controller on the keyboard.

If anyone of my terminology or information was incorrect, please correct me - I have never built a keyboard before and got all my information just by reading and watching a lot of videos about soldering.

   Two questions, please.
   1) how much is the PCB, can’t see a price tag?
   2) can I get an estimate price, e. g.:
      0$(?) 75% PCB, White
      22$ 75% Plate, Acryl 5mm, Lime
      80$ 75% Acryl Case
10$ LED High Bright, 110pcs (with Resistors), White
      45$ Cherry MX Blue, 90pcs
      45$ Assemble and Test Service
makes together 202$, plus some shipping (I live in Germany) and other costs, so I probably end up with 250$ all inclusive, right?

   2) can I get an estimate price, e. g.:
      0$(?) 75% PCB, White
      22$ 75% Plate, Acryl 5mm, Lime
      80$ 75% Acryl Case
10$ LED High Bright, 110pcs (with Resistors), White
      45$ Cherry MX Blue, 90pcs
      45$ Assemble and Test Service
makes together 202$, plus some shipping (I live in Germany) and other costs, so I probably end up with 250$ all inclusive, right?

Wherever it says USD it means United States Dollar and that is the price.

In the OP it states that the price is $50 for a 60% or 75% PCB

Thanks, Lubed Up Slug. So estimated overall price for the above mentioned setup would be about 300$, right? I’m happy with a rough estimation.

assuming that you add $50 for getting it to you or whatever then yes.  Also it should be noted that since almost all of the components on this board are presoldered you could assemble it yourself and skip out on the assembly fee.  All you would have to do is solder in the switches and LEDs and then put the pcb and plate in the case.  I am sure there is a guide around here somewhere about how to do it, but if you don't mind a little bit of DIY you should look into it.  You could also try to source the switches and LEDs yourself, considering that it might make getting the stuff to you a little cheaper.

yes, you could assemble it yourself, ...also:
You better not forget stabilizers (which are currently unavailable) and keycaps (I know it can be difficult as hell to get german caps for a custom board).

I feel comfortable with ISO Enter for myself, and it's solid keystroke.

I will post more assembled Pics tomorrow morning.

Can the 60% PCB support the poker layout, 1.25 x 7 and a 6.25 space bar, but with costar stabs if I can get the proper plate to pair with it?

hi! Zflamewing !  how are You?    ;)
Sure!  It supports standard Winkey layout.
Costar stab are excluded in the 4mm, 5mm plates for it's thickness,  and in 1.6mm plates for my stupidness.
Really sorry for that!   :(

@Lubed Up Slug and @Elias Camber Thank you.

I would appreciate some high quality fotos or videos of assembled Sprit models. Especially some recommended setups, to rouse desires. Abit eyecandy as marketing would do it! :-)

Sprit, I sent you a pm regarding the assembly for my keyboard a while ago and I don't know if you got around to reading it.

Still no word on the 1.5mm alu plate?  How many round 1 orders are delayed by this - sure I wasn't the only one?

Would have, but according to how sprit seems to be managing this, my order will most likely be one of the last to ship. I have 2 87s, and 2 full size boards. Bunch of different plates, switches, and case designs. Should have ordered some more extra colors though.

On a side note, anyone know what type of resistors I need to buy? What about for multi-color LED? Am I correct in thinking that all keys support multi color LEDS?

Sprit, I was just wondering, did my order not have a plate? I thought I had one, but I could be wrong.

Edit: Seems I forgot to order one.  No worries and thanks.for the generous offer sprit.
