I don't think you should worry about that. If you can organize with sprit when you can pay, I would recommend you just get your order in now and PM sprit.

Sprit gets a lot of PMs and he is really busy right now, so give him a few days to get back to you.

In short, yes, you should be able to place an order still.

When I talked to him a couple days ago he mentioned that a lot of people missed the deadline.

I know we are still waiting for MOQ on some PCBs, so I think it should be fine if you pay now.

This GB has more of a rolling time-frame and I think the payment deadlines are more for sprit to try to guarantee interest. Since the factory will only presolder everything at specific MOQs (which sprit can't afford not to hit anymore due to how time consuming the soldering is), the drop out rate really affects his ability to deliver. The more people he can get to fully commit (aka: pay), the less risk he has on his buy.

To be fair, sprit is still figuring out a system that works for him because he has taken on a lot with this buy. He has been doing a great job and he has been delivering great quality products. The scope of what he is doing here is huge and awesome for us. He has been excellent at making sure all of his customers are happy.

In short, this buy is not a well oiled machine like what Ivan runs, but given the scope and Sprit's dedication it has been very successful.

I'd like to know what case model you guys are ordering. And it also want to know the comparison between each model and other keyboards on the market (Ducky, Filco) in term of height. (I don't know how Sprit had measured like 18mm from base to top of the case or 18mm from base to the PCB)

Originally had a Model 2 order, but emailed Sprit to have it changed to a Model 3. I like the low profile look.

I'm thinking about building a keyboard around the model 2 case. From what I can see in the pictures, it looks like it's made up of the following:

One-piece top layer with built-in switch plate
Middle layer
Bottom layer

Is this correct? And when filling out the order form how do I specify this? Is the top layer + plate included with the model 2 case? Or do I buy the plate separately and specify that I need one for the model 2 case?

Also, is there any way to order an 87% plate that doesn't have the triangles cut out around the arrow keys?

Depends on your order. 60% PCB & Cases are under production with factory pre-soldered diodes & resistors, so it won't be that long.

Depends on your order. 60% PCB & Cases are under production with factory pre-soldered diodes & resistors, so it won't be that long.

Got it. I got a 75% though, so it seems like it might be another month or two.
