Been a couple weeks since I visited this thread.

Seems like everyone is certain this is a scam? No hope at all?

I can't believe there's nothing we can do. Paypal doesn't care, sprit is apparently gone.

The worst part is how excited I was to make boards as gifts.

I think the general feeling is either scam or Sprit became overwhelmed and rather than step up or ask for help, decided to run.

Whatever the case, I would not count on getting anything.

I think we'd prefer detailed updates rather then "shipping has resumed". It really doesn't tell us much.

How many are left to ship? Are all the parts actually ready or are some still in production? What about soldering, how long will that take?

I feel like its been done a few times, and I guess I am biased, having been fortunate enough to be one of the people who received their order, but it seemed to me like Sprit actually did resume shipping things out each time he reappeared.

To Sprit:

Given the delays of this buy, and the lack of transparency, I think it's critical that the 2nd point be resolved to make everyone a bit more calm. I understanding that responding to every email/PM is difficult, but more transparency is critical at this point.

I propose an open spreadsheet on Google Docs, with all the names of the R1 buyers, with an indicator whether their order has shipped or not. I think this would go a long way into giving buyers a sense of where they're at. Personally, I think this is a very reasonable request, and I've seen it done in other group buy's with great effect. People just want to know their status at this point, and understand the size and scope of where this GB is right now.

100x this. Don't bombard him. I have no doubt that Sprit is a good guy, and he is trying to get your orders out.

At this stage I'm sure refunds aren't an option as his funds have been invested into the products and to try and eek one out any way you can will simply destroy his motivation.

I've seen this before for ex. with theprof in phantom gb.

Only private communications is the way to take more time.

I want to see a public list in the thread of waiting shippings updated weekly and a visual proof of all the stuff we have paid a year ago (not a photo of a bunch of closed boxes).
I starting to think that he hasn't a detailed list nor our stuff in hands

Even when he was shipping the original buy out at a decent rate there was never any fast updates, just remember that if you overwhelm him progress will only be slower.

Just wanted to say that I was in the first group buy for this keyboard, and I never received it... probably 8-9 months ago we had exchanged pm's, and he made it seem like he was about to ship my order out. I never got confirmation of that though and no actual keyboard to show.

In hindsight saying that your keyboard is ready for shipping and asking to pay said shipping, and then not sending the keyboard 8 month, is a clear sign that something is very wrong. I would say the reason sprit showed up is because people from the Korean community started showing up with their concerns. He is probably still hoping to do some business in the future, and that somehow hurts him. I wouldn't hold my breath for anything moving forward until we see shipping really resumed.

Right, I find it amazing that people still have faith in him. Another scam (I hope is not but probably) from Korea.

He refuses to reply to my emails, PMs when I wanted to sort out problem. I wonder if those boards requiring manual soldering is actually a lie, to procrastinate things.

Perhaps that's just a bot with pre-defined messages showing up in every x month. No shipping would actually take place.
