I think you at least owe sprit an apology given that you've been bashing sprit for a while now. Of course when the package arrives, but just saying. I've never had any problems with orders from sprit so far. Yes, there were times when he didn't respond to my email but he always ended up delivering my stuff.

Edit: not a throwaway now :thumb:

That's the funniest thing posted here all year. DanielT doesn't owe Sprit anything. Sprit earned every single word of reproach from DanielT, myself, and anyone else that's had money tied up for 2 years waiting on this lying sack of crap to give us the meager respect of a simple status message. The only one here that owes anything is Sprit because he's got thousands of dollars of other people's money in his bank account for products that he promised to manufacture and ship but never did.

Update  26 Nov -  The Final to go     Hi! Guys!   ;)    Been too long Wait!    >:(

So, I see that my name has made the bottom of yet another "status update". Please kindly explain WTF it means? The first line says "shipping next week", but no explanation for the other lines. Does it mean that I'm the 8th to last person that will have my order shipped? I certainly hope not because I told you back in April that I can do the soldering myself. Literally, all you have to do is put it in a box, slap a shipping label on it, and put it in the mail. How effing hard could this be for you? For some reason you seem to think my order does not qualify for your definition of "simple" and I can't fathom why; it's a PCB, a plate, and some switches. It can't get much simpler.

It would be nice to have a clear idea of the burn rate, seeing as how I'm near the end  :thumb:

Really really funny.

I believe Sprit's post meant there would be three parts (you being in the second part) with simple orders happening during and between the two parts. Course I honestly believe this was just another smokescreen to attempt to make us not alarmed when he accepts and ships more new orders as I've yet to see any real attempt at progress for those 2-year old non simple orders in the update.

Most definitely a smokescreen.

People started filing complaints with paypal. Mods placed warnings on all his group buys. Suddenly Sprit returns and ships a few packages to active commentators and then he is gone again.

I'm having trouble with my Face W (60%) under linux. Every other second or so the light next to the port on my usb hub flickers. (All connectors have lights next to them indicating they are on. When I try and type under linux sometimes keys freeze up. I'm pretty sure it syncs upp with the flickering light on my usb-hub.
The wierd part is that it works great under windows. The light does not flicker.
I have tried plugging it directly to the computer and changing cable but nothing seem to help.

I belive I have the latest firmware installed. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

3 weeks since the last update Sprit. Color me surprised that there's been no messages of "these have shipped" and no reports of anyone on the "Shipping next week" list receiving anything yet...

How about an update and an answer to our questions, Sprit???

Depends on how long ago you paid, but for the majority of the people in here the answer is, unfortunately, "no". You have 180 days to open the dispute.

Getting near to a month with no new updates from Sprit.
The people that he said he would ship to next have not mentioned receiving anything - to be honest I doubt he has sent a single one of those orders.

I have written to his email a third time within half a year (I wanted to give him time to actually work on this rather than answer emails), and hope I at least get an answer back this time. I really really think the GB warning in big red letters should be put back on ALL his GB posts. That or just flat out ban him. He is quick with those invoices, and super slow with actually filling them - if he is actually filling them.. Halting problem right there, we can't know if he is filling them slow or not at all until he actually fills them :-)

I agree with jlor on this one. It would be the only real way to motivate him to fulfill the orders that are still due.

Last time when some got in contact with people he used to source the components (I think it was PCB designer he worked with) from, and started seriously warning others of his GBs, he showed up for a while with an excuse of sickness and shipped some orders. The only way to motivate him is to impact his other "sales". Whatever was done then should be done again...

I feel like such a sucker :)
Every time he finally posts something, a part of me still believes things are happening.

I wish I had listened to the rumors from the Korean boards about him when this whole buy started.

Worst of all, I passed the 2-year anniversary of my payment and forgot to celebrate.
I'll just have a bigger celebration next year I guess :)

We should really organize a party for the 3 year anniversary of this group buy. I propose we do it at Sprits place.

Do you have a name or link for these korean forums? Or would sharing that be against GH forum guidelines?

Here is a submission form if someone wants to add their order to it. I think it would be beneficial in the long run.

My entry is wrong. Can I update it, or should you?

My order consists of the following:
---
1x 110% PCB
110x White LED high brightness (with 1% resistors)
5x Cherry MX Stabilizers (total 1 set)
---

An update on my email correspondence to Sprit: I sent the email 10 days ago. Have not received a reply yet. Sent another to him today, he might've been busy with family / friends over December. Understandably I think..

One thing I have learned in the 2 years since I have joined this community, and that is for each user who fails to deliver (I try and avoid other terms) you have a ton of col users who prove that this is a cool community and make up for any bad experience. Just have to stick around and make friends and not lose faith. This a great hobby and the caps/keyboards are just an excuse to get together  :thumb:

I'm really sorry that this GB is not moving anywhere ... it's a shame. Wish you luck guys to get your stuff and finally close this chapter  :thumb:

Indeed, don't let one bad GB ruin this great hobby for you - tons of other cool guys out there who actually do deliver.

Take LeandreNs R3 for example; beat estimated time by a month and everything went smoothly.

I haven't so far. I have a customs parcel arriving tomorrow though, it could be this but I assume it's from one of the other group buys. If it is this, I'll post.

I'm first on that list, got an email from him very shortly afterwards asking me to confirm my shipping information which I did... nothing heard from him since.  Mind you, that is the second half of my order, and that happened the first time too.

Yep, I believed we all get that same email. Then after I confirmed my address, I haven't heard of him since.

As suspected, the parcel was from Ivan. still, nothing from Sprit. (Over two years now since order.)

Nope. He hasn't responded to emails either, last time I received an email from him was April 2015 - for a shipping confirmation. Also 2+ years now since ordering.

Looking at Sprits forum stats:
Local Time:Tue, 02 February 2016, 04:56:54
Last Active: Tue, 02 February 2016, 02:41:54

No posts since his last update though. I wonder what he is doing on here, when he's clearly not responding to messages or threads.

Good spot! All 60%s I notice, has anyone received an 87% or a full size from Sprit? Amongst my many worries concerning this GB is that the only ones that I've seen received are 60%. I wonder if all these delayed orders are all those for bigger PCBs and cases.
